Hoheto Production (ほへとプロダクション) was a Japanese Virtual YouTuber agency launched by Mechu Inc. (ミーチュー株式会社) in October 2022.
The agency publicly disclosed its use of generative AI, particularly AI art for its VTubers' designs and illustrations, billing themselves as "The world's first (probably) VTuber agency that used (generative) Artificial Intelligence." and their vision as "To use AI to deliver the kind of joy that VTubers have never given before".
On 31 December 2023, the agency ceased operations, with four of its five remaining members becoming independent and the last one retiring after graduation that same day.

2022
On 27 October, Mechu Inc. (ミーチュー株式会社) announced the launch of its AI art-assisted VTuber agency Hoheto Production and revealed its 1st Generation featuring 7 members: Tsugiki Kimari, Dateno Mil (romanized as Miiru, sometimes spelled "Mil"), Haua, Montgomery Lanya (initially spelled "Raña"), Amae Mitsu, Nononomura Latte, and Samezaki Nako.
2023
On 22 February, Hoheto Production revealed its 2nd Generation, also featuring 7 members through a series of introductory tweets: Moriya Pino, Kisaragi Ao, Ayaori Yuina, Chujo Kaguya, Tonami Yura, Soutsu Kyo, and Tranquillo Viviana.
On 11 April, Hoheto Production announced the termination of Samezaki Nako's contract and her retirement that same day, citing various reasons, including her "posting of potentially address-traceable information", "making false statements damaging the company's credibility" and other breaches of her contract.
On 29 May, Hoheto Production announced Ayaori Yuina's indefinite hiatus after her last known livestream on 6 April, after which she stopped updating her socials and could not be contacted by the agency for over one month.
On 12 June, Hoheto Production announced that Amae Mitsu will be graduating on 30 June.
On 27 July, Hoheto Production announced Soutsu Kyo's indefinite hiatus, citing her poor health.
On 10 September, Moriya Pino did her last known stream.
On 7 October, Moriya Pino made her last public tweet, complaining about her pollen allergy preventing her from streaming. This is also her last known activity on her accounts. Despite this, the Hoheto Production Twitter account continued posting AI art of her, and on 10 October, posted an AI art tweet of Pino thanking fans for getting the agency's Twitter account to 1,000 followers.
On 8 October, Tranquillo Viviana made her last public tweet, promising to reschedule her members' stream in case she can't do it that day, following two other tweets earlier in the day complaining about her worsening health and allergies.
On 9 October, Hoheto Production announced that Montgomery Lanya will be graduating on 1 December.
Disbanding
On 28 November, Hoheto Production announced that it was disbanding on 31 December, 2023.
On 31 December, the agency disbanded with Tsugiki Kimari, Dateno Mil, Nononomura Latte, and Chujo Kaguya continuing as independent VTubers, while Kisaragi Ao held her graduation stream and retired.
