Neon is a cyborg from an alternate universe. She lives in a city in Australia known as the Metropolis, which is extremely high-tech and appears to be a utopia. Being the first cyborg in her universe, Neon paved the way for new technologies and cyber-ware, and ended up becoming the icon or symbol for cyborgs and cyber-ware. Sometime during 2006, she was put into a cryochamber designed to keep her inside for a number of years, before she would be let back out into the Metropolis. During this time, there was an apocalypse and a huge war that she only knows about from journal entries and computer logs. When she was finally let out in early 2024, she realised she was suddenly very alone in a large, overgrown city.
They decided to try and reach out to other universes, to see what was out there, eventually accidentally stumbling upon the internet in our world. To combat her loneliness and to improve her social skills, they decided to try streaming from their universe to ours.
