A café tucked away in a quiet alley was once co-owned by Kaoru’s grandfather and his old friend. But after the grandfather passed away, the old friend took over as manager that only to run the place half-heartedly. With age catching up to him and the pandemic taking its toll, time slowly drained the café of life, leaving behind nothing but an... overflowing mailbox of unpaid bills and empty seats. One by one, the staff left, until only Asano Kaoru remained.
