Rei, a female VTuber who debuted on November 10, 2023, is part of the Meridian Project's NEO(n) group alongside Kirali and Yuzumi. She speaks Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese, and English and is known for her gaming, designing, educational content, music, and quirky personality contrasted with her soothing singing voice.
Rei (澪) is a female Taiwanese VTuber who debuted on the 10th of November 2023. She is affiliated with Meridian Project (子午計劃). She can speak Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese, and English. Her fanbase is called "Ling Shu (澪薯)". She is a member of Meridian Project’s NEO(n) (霓), alongside Kirali (煌) and Yuzumi (橙). Her charm lies in the strong contrast... between her “healing-type” singing voice and her “quirky, unpredictable” personality. She is known for her airy, soothing vocals, often described by listeners as something that helps them forget their worries, even if just for a moment. Although she often humbly says she lacks confidence in keeping rhythm, she serves as the group’s “singer-songwriter” and has even performed an original duet, “Mini Lover’s Dream,” with her senior, Seki. Her karaoke streams cover a wide range of genres, including Vocaloid songs, anime tracks, and even Mandarin songs that fans jokingly say are “from an older era.” She is gentle and empathetic, once sincerely reminding viewers not to project expectations from senior members onto newcomers, showing a mature and thoughtful side. Despite her character setting as a student of frost magic, she often comes across as a bit clumsy during streams, leading to many unexpectedly funny moments. She also has a spontaneous, slightly chaotic side—for example, during a collaboration with KSP, she unexpectedly showed a playful and cheeky personality. She once collaborated with the mattress brand “Sleepy Tofu,” where she tested a mattress in a 3D livestream and actually fell asleep for about 4.5 hours. The stream in which the “main character” was asleep for almost the entire time still attracted over 2,000 concurrent viewers. It also showcased detailed 3D technology, with the virtual mattress realistically responding to her movements and body pressure. Born after the year 2000, she often jokingly refers to herself as part of the “strawberry generation,” a running joke that fans absolutely love. Show more
