Q: What's an opossum?
A: Opossums, North America's sole marsupial, are misunderstood creatures and harmless scavengers. We play a role in pest control thanks to our unique omnivore diet, plus we're "immune" to rabies due to our low body temperatures. While we may seem intimidating, we're more afraid of you than you are of us, as evidenced by our involuntary "playing possum"!
Q: Why an opossum for your model?
A: To me, opossums are kind of the Internet's unofficial mascot for both mental health and being gremlins in general. I resonate with them being misunderstood with my experiences growing up, have tackled my own mental health challenges, and I generally love opossum memes. Plus, I just found that an anime "hunky guy" model wouldn't have been me.
Q: Where are you from?
A: The US! I roam the east coast for trash. Won't say more than that to prevent "doxxing".
Q: When do you stream?
A: I post and pin weekly schedules on our Discord, but currently: 3 PM EST on Sundays, and 6 PM EST on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Re-schedules may cause these to shift.
Q: Do you do collaborations with other content creators?
A: In the effort of being transparent, I only sometimes do collaborations. It's a combination of needing trust with some shyness on my part. Generally speaking, I do collaborations with close friends on a very rare basis. That being said, if you are potentially interested in trying to collaborate with Pwsm, please reach out to awsmpwsmofficial@gmail.com.
Q: What do you stream?
A: I am a variety streamer! Though, a lot of my games tend to be of the horror genre. I play what I have fun with, to ensure an entertaining experience.
Q: Are you a furry or part of the furry community?
A: Though my stream tags include "furry" due to being recognized as a "furry vtuber," I personally don't identify as part of the furry community. Nonetheless, the furry community is embraced here, with many Garbage Gang members being furries!
Q: Are you a part of the LGBTQIA+ community?
A: Yes, technically! Though I don't discuss it frequently, I identify as
demisexual, which falls under the asexual spectrum. While acknowledging this part of my identity, I consider myself more of an ally, recognizing that the struggles faced by asexual individuals tend to drastically differ from those of other LGBTQIA+ members. My stream is a safe space for all members of the LGBTQIA+ and their allies.
Q: Will you ever show your face?
A: I have no intention of showing what I look like in the foreseeable future. Please respect this decision! Thank you!
