Stream avatars has a lot of customizations. For some reason there is sometimes a bug of the scrollbar not appearing in the widget. In this case press the open in pop up icon on the lower right.

To customize your avatar press the hamburger-menu-icon (3 lines in the top left) and select the category for the change you want to commit.
If you see no items yet , just wait for them to load in and select the desired customization.
