Personality

Bungle is a fun loving person that enjoys having a good laugh. She loves playing off her chat, usually causing chaos spanning from resurrecting old memes, to making her say things so outlandish that they stay on stream. She has the tendency to jump around from topic-to-topic so fast, she forgets what she's taking about.

Every now and then, Bungle covers hot topics at the beginning of her streams, and gives her opinions on them.

Appearance

Bungle is an anthropomorphic cat with turquoise blue fur and green accents. Her hair is tied up in two low loose ponytails accompanied by two dark lemon scrunchies. Her model consists of an off-gold long sleeve with shoulder cutouts, ripped up jeans, socks and sandals. The Mjolnir she wears represents that of her IRL husband's. Her model's texturing was done by LeomarieMMD.

Bungle prioritizes her cat model, but would also run an elf model every once in a while (which has been retired).

Background

Bungle streamed under the name JellyHearts from 2019 to 2020 before becoming unable to access her Twitch account due to being locked out of Two Factor Authentication (she blames changing phone numbers on the lock out). Soon after, she switched her name to Bungle Scrungle, since the name JellyHearts was getting her YouTube content glazed over by food videos making gelatin heart candy.

Bungle's design is originally an OC she made back in late 2018, based loosely off an emote sick2day made for another Twitch streamer. The character was originally made for NSFW purposes, but was changed to represent herself. All NSFW references/ideas became null.

She had other designs she initially wanted to pull from to make her VTuber model, but chose the cat since it was easier to put together in VRoid Studio.

Lore

  • Bungle technically doesn't have lore, as she just wanted to stream. Here's some fan theories on how Bungle came to be: ** Bungle fell into a well full of Mountain Dew and somehow became the cat. ** Bungle was reincarnated as the cat. ** Too much marijuana turned her skin green. ** Bungle is a zombie. ** Bungle is a furry.

Miscellaneous

  • Bungle also does IRL streams.
  • She is actually married in real life, and has a daughter named Daisy. Bungle's community loves when Daisy comes on stream because she makes everyone happy. Bungle has stated that she never wants to put her daughter's face online so she can live a normal childhood.
  • She's mentioned being medically diagnosed with arthritis, autism and depression.
  • Bungle has "guy brain."
  • Bungle has been working with MikuMikuDance for over 10 years. She has a separate channel called Bungle Scrungle MMD that's only MMD content.
  • Bungle can be heavily opinionated at times.
  • Bungle idolizes her mother and wishes she could be as strong willed as she is. Her mother has also been on a few of her streams, but Bungle edited her out for privacy reasons.
  • Bungle is an alcoholic and nicotine addict that warns others not to touch either substance. She's also been addicted to THC.

2024

Bungle took multiple hiatuses in 2024 due to poor physical and mental health conditions.

On 13 February, Bungle made her debut stream as a PNG. She wanted to start VTubing as a 2D VTuber, but believed Live2D Cubism would be too difficult to learn and work with. She turned her sights to 3D VTubing after being inspired by BeruK (a Precure modeler that works primarily in VRoid), to make her model in VRoid Studio.

On 15 February, she debuted her 3D model. The model was very... generic. Following her debut, she took an exactly one month hiatus to refine her model.

On 15 March, she returned, using a refined model which she would use going forward.

In April and May, Bungle took multiple hiatuses due to stress and health issues, only streaming six times in the two months.

On 3 June, Bungle's model finally obtained a tail. She didn't know that around the time she initially installed VRoid Studio, they dropped their update that added tails.

Her June streams also made massive acknowledgements towards Men's Mental Health Month, a time to raise awareness about the unique mental health challenges men face and to encourage them to prioritize their well-being.

From 4 to 5 July, Bungle celebrated her YouTube channel hitting both 700 and 800 subscribers, respectively. She put her model in a "sexy bunny suit" as a joke.

On 6 July, Bungle held her first IRL stream under the 'Bungle Scrungle'.

On 7 July, she debuted "proper motion tracking" using XR Animator. She's since ditched the software due to unreliability in arm and torso tracking.

On 3 August, Bungle held her first Special Guest stream with her mod Zeph. He was represented by a Crocodile girl PNG.

On 19 August, Bungle showed off her "classic design," a generic Elf girl with long pink hair and a crown of gold feathers on her head. The face and body of the Elf model are the same as her cat model.

ON 13 September, Bungle held her first birthday celebration stream.

On 26 September, Bungle held her YouTube channel's 900 subscriber special stream.

On 12 October, Bungle held her 1,000 subscriber special. She did this stream IRL, and still says doing that was a massive mistake.

2025

Throughout 2025, Bungle has attempted to keep steady stream schedules, but failed due to health issues or outside issues.

On 20 January, Bungle debuted her 1.1 model update with new texturing provided by LeomarieMMD. She then got sick for 10 days.

On 5 March, she began a streaming hiatus.

On 17 March, Bungle returned with a stream titled "Don't Feel Like Being a VTuber Anymore TBH | Bungle Scrungle" (which since her VTubing return has changed to 'Don't Feel Like Being a VTuber Right Now TBH | Bungle Scrungle'). Towards the end of the stream, she stated: "Yea no more VTuber stuff from me." "I don't want to anymore; it's boring, and like... the entire audience of like VTuber people in the first place are fucking weird. I started having weird people coming in, and I was just like 'no, no'... Parasocial pieces of shit, just not gonna deal with that." "I ain't fuck-fodder; I ain't dealing with that shit" "Like normal people there are a little bit crazy, that's fine; I'm not dealing with getting cat-called" "I can't ping-pong off someone going 'oh my god she's so fucking sexy do you think she'll let me smash?'".

On 15 April, Bungle's hiatus ended. After a month of IRL streaming, Bungle returned to the world of VTubing with a bang. She performed a little sashay dance to her opening music, shouting out LeomarieMMD for making her model look more like the average VTubers'. She discussed Gawr Gura's announcement video (before her announcement even went live), what she's been working on in MikuMikuDance, how expensive movies cost, trend hoppers, and of course the reason she returned to VTubing.

She stated, "Unfortunately being real is what I'd like, but there is still a small part of me that's like 'if I get big I can change the world'. Go ahead and have tiny ambitions, pea brain. You're fuckin' stupid but good on ya." following that up during her next stream with "We've been talking about this for a bit; this wasn't like a spur of the moment thing" "and I decided I'm just gonna come back to it. If I don't start I'm not going to start" "You're not gonna see my IRL face for probably a while, so... that's a good thing." She also went into more detail about why she initially stopped, stating that people would join her discord server specifically to send her explicit images of themselves, and then sent death threats after she stopped streaming as a VTuber. She alluded that those people were low lives.

On 26 April, Bungle went live to talk about the situation surrounding the VTuber Sinder. The stream got 1,800 views. This is currently Bungle's most viewed video on her channel, and it has to be a "drama" video at that.

In May, Bungle updated her VTuber room. Bungle went through multiple mental struggles in that month, and held streams dedicated to talking about them.

In June, Bungle got the idea to start multi-streaming to Kick from another creator, Tectone, after seeing how inviting the platform was to new creators and how much better it was than Twitch. Due to Streamlabs limitations, multistreaming can only be done (through the software itself) by paying a monthly subscription. To bypass this, Bungle got the idea to test out streaming mainly to Kick for a week. It didn't take very long for her (and her husband) to decide to set their sites on ONLY streaming on Kick due to how revenue gets split and how easy it is to get to enabling subscriptions.

On 6 June, she made her last YouTube stream.

On 9 June, she made her first Kick stream.

On 12 June, Kick subscriptions were enabled. Bungle decided to start looking for methods to multi-stream due to Kick VODs getting low viewership on her YouTube channel.

On 4 July, as Bungle was playing through Sonic Adventure 2, she got the idea to take a shot of vodka every time she died in game. All was well until the stage Crazy Gadget. She died 4 times in that stage alone, and 7 times in total before starting the Dark Story. Fel appeared on stream for a bit to take the alcohol away, but didn't stop the stream; he's said he regrets not doing so. Bungle blacked out on stream, somehow getting up to Mad Space in the process. She only remembers playing through up to Sand Ocean. The stream is unlisted on Bungle's Kick channel, and the VOD will never be put on YouTube. Bungle also injured herself after the stream (she's shown her bruises from falling out of her chair, falling up the stairs, and hitting the walls).

On 8 July, Bungle's next stream served as a PSA to not stream while being intoxicated. She held this stream IRL to "give the Bungle model a break out of shame," and emphasize the importance of the situation as a whole. (It needs to be noted that all of this occurred during the Ludwig and Mang0 alcohol abuse situation.)

On 22 July, Bungle finally found out how to multi-stream to both YouTube and Kick via Restream after troubleshooting issues with Streamlabs in a discord call. She's been multi-streaming since.
