"My parents used to own a shop when I was a child. Everyone knew us as the Family of Treasures. My father had a collection of strange and wonderful things that he picked up from his time as an adventurer. The greatest of these treasures, the one that changed my life forever, was a small ring called the Ring of Fel. This ring gave its wearer divine luck at the cost of great misfortune for everyone else in the vicinity. My father called it his lucky ring, bringing him success in his adventures before meeting my mother, but I would later come to resent this cursed ring. It is indeed an amazing and powerful thing. Wearing it makes you feel like a God. It's an item everyone wished to have, and some people would do anything to get their hands on it.

One day, we were attacked. Bandits came to our home in the middle of the night searching for the ring. My father tried his best to protect us but there were too many of them. My mother gave me the ring and my parents helped me escape. They told me to run. As I fled, I heard my parents scream out in pain and I ran as fast as I could, my vision blurry from the tears.

I've spent my life traveling since then. Learning how to survive, always on the move. This cursed ring that I carry with me has led me to marvelous places. It has shown me terrible things. Sometimes I think I hear the sound of my parents' screams at night, as if the sound was coming from the ring itself."
