Cuffin Owol

Originally a snow leopard rescued by humans from Xuejian Mountain, she eventually grew up to become the village’s “Farewell Keeper,” accompanying villagers through the final moments of their lives and listening to the secrets and regrets they only dared to confess before death.

After seeing off the last person in the village, there were no... other intelligent beings left on the mountain, only the sounds of wind and snow. The loneliness slowly began to hollow her out. So she left the familiar snowy mountains behind and descended in search of a new life that would be a little less lonely.

On her way down the mountain, she discovered a quiet building standing silently in the mist. She pushed open the door, intending only to find a temporary place to rest, but unexpectedly entered into a contract with the witch inside. In exchange, she received a body capable of speaking with humans and became the manager of Furui Xuan.

Furui Xuan stands at the boundary between life and death, dealing with unfinished business and exchanges involving souls. As the manager, her job is to welcome every guest who enters, listen to their stories and wishes, and complete exchanges between the townspeople and the dead, things they refuse to let time erase.
