The Timid Dream-Guardian of the Night She was born in the seam where night and dreams intertwine — the last half-demon guardian left behind by the Moon Goddess. She has a human heart, a cat’s senses, and the power to enter dreams and cut away malevolent thoughts. Her mission is to protect sleeping people from the onslaught of nightmares. Her... twin blades, Silence and Sever, can slice through unease and break obsessive attachments.
But she has two fatal weaknesses. She is terribly, terribly afraid of the dark. Every time she slips into a dream she must first turn on a small night-light before she dares to go in. She is terrified of insects — especially the flying kind — and the moment one appears she’ll scream on the spot. Once, while fighting an evil spirit, a bug flew behind her and she tripped over herself…
To conquer her fears, she decided to step into the human world and start livestreaming, hoping that interacting with viewers will slowly strengthen the part of her that’s always been afraid.
