Hanachi

Hanachi is a cheerful and optimistic magical being and the leader of MagicaLumina, a magical girl group formed by her girlfriend Risa and her sister, Boomi. She's creative, but her perfectionism stresses her often. Despite being a vtuber, she doesn't keep her real life identity hidden for a variety of reasons, and has expressed that her real life counterpart, (artist and vtuber asset designer Mechokkucity, also known as "The Other Hana") is just a body she occupies to experience the world the audience lives in, an alternative reality where she is a human being and pays taxes. Although The channel originally was created to host her creator's vocal covers under the nickname Hana-C, which is pronounced the same as "Hanachi". Mechokkucity's interest in virtual youtubers led to the creation of a vtuber based on her youtaite persona, and kickstarted Hanachi's vtuber career.

Hanachi's main color scheme in her current model is red and purple/blue, with a short haircut and a white bangs covering her right eye. She has heterochromia and her visible eye is red, while the eye she covers with hair is teal. She wears a red beret, white blouse, red overalls with short pants and purple accents, dark blue (almost black) gloves, leg warmers and big shoes. Her current appearance is meant to look as if she was a villain instead of a magical girl, because according to her lore "it looks cooler", and it's inspired by the anime franchise Pretty Cure.

Hanachi's debut took place on 13 April, but due to bad comments regarding her model, her original introduction video was deleted from her channel. Her initial appearance can be seen in a post in her Twitter account.

*Her fans are called "Hanachos".

*She has gone through more than 10 model changes since her debut, all made using VRoid Studio. *Her current model has a base made in VRoid Studio, but mesh modifications and accesories made in Blender. *Hanachi has only shown romantic interest in other girls, and calls herself a lesbian. *Her girlfriend and "partner in crime" is her channel colleague, Risa.

As told in the first part of "Hanachi101", a video series explaining her backstory, Hanachi used to be just a fragment of a virtual soul wandering through the internet with no memories about her past, until she got to Cherry Donut's personal computer (AKA "The other Hana") and was able to ask for help. The other Hana (who is a huge vtuber fan) made a 3d virtual body using VRoid and gave it to her under the condition that she would use it for vtuber activities. When her soul was transferred her soul fragments fused with The other Hana's voice and memories and became the Hanachi we know now.
