Welcome to HTE!

It's been long overdue that I introduce myself on here.

I'm Hatty, a weird goofy dogboy/alleged Red Panda VTuber, and if you're wondering why I carry a tiny Hatsune Miku plush on my shoulder, well, I guess the answer is simple: I'm just a big fan.

Hat Team Epic was started as a way for me to stream games to my friends. I realized later on that I just really liked the sound of my own voice, so I started this channel to further my dream of becoming the voice in everyone else's heads.

If you watch the channel's trailer, you can see just how crazy things can get. If my energy is a good match for you, don't worry there's plenty more where that came from.

With that, I'll give you a quick rundown of who I am and what I like:

You can probably guess I'm a big fan of Hatsune Miku. Any questions about my merchandise and music collection I will be more than happy to answer.

Favorite Game? Half-Life. Hands down. The color scheme might have been a dead giveaway. I definitely play GoldSource/Source/Source2 related games more than anything else on this channel. When the urge hits, I have to play Half-Life. Be it the original game, maps, mods, or just even the soundtrack.

And speaking of soundtrack, I'm a big audiophile. I love music. If an urge hits for me, I will play my own music over the game I'm playing on stream. A little bit of DJ'ing just to see if I can make things a bit more interesting.

Favorite soundtracks (and things I'd recommend you check out): NeoTokyo (and anything by 0edit), Ace Combat, Half-Life, Halo, Final Fantasy (though good luck getting me to play that on stream), and plenty of others.

Yeah, yeah. Rules are boring.

I just have some really basic ground rules for the stream. I don't expect to have my chat moderated heavily, but there are a few things I'll ban for.

1.) Suspicious links and self-advertising:

Unless I give the OK, assume that you can't advertise yourself as an artist. I get messages from people in my chat asking for commissions, and each time I have to turn them down. To make this easier, I won't take any requests. If you need me, refer to my contact form below.

2.) Infighting and Antagonism:

Really basic rule. Trash talk to the streamer is OK, but releasing personal information of either the other members of chat or yourself isn't going to go over well. I am okay with occasional vents, I do it all the time, but nothing that might cause you or the people around you any harm.

3.) No spam:

The thing worse than a chat that has nobody is a chat too cluttered for anyone to be able to read anything. I'll tell you to knock it off before I decide something needs to be done.

When I stream, it's scheduled for Thursday - Sunday, 7 PM - 9 PM E.S.T.

I'm usually available in my server if you need to ask me something, but I will not take requests from people who demand my attention. If I'm busy, and I generally tend to be, don't expect a quick response. The server is there for if you have questions.
