Henya is very energetic, fairly sassy, and often laughs at the smallest things. Despite this, she is very reserved and shy in real life.

She is known to use Japanese phrases like "sousousou" and "dayo" even when speaking English. Though her verbal ticks show up even when speaking Japanese, leading her to mix both languages from time to time.

Her usual greeting is "Ohayo!"

Henya the Genius embodies a distinctly futuristic and academic vibe, blending soft pastel colors with a science-inspired theme. She has long, wavy lavender hair that cascades past her waist, featuring a loose curl at the top. Her hair is accented by twin strands tied on each side with black and yellow clip-like accessories that appear to float and are shaped like thin cuboids. Henya has golden-yellow eyes and two black hair clips adorning her side bangs. She stands at 140 cm, and has a slender and flat figure.

Her main outfit consists of a stylish oversized jacket in shades of soft lavender and dark purple, accented with yellow. The jacket features a high collar and is embellished with black belts, yellow zipper pulls, and yellow tassels. The jacket is often a third of the way unzipped. Hanging from the right side of her belt is a black strap that holds a small yellow-and-black charm shaped like a 3D puzzle cube, reminiscent of a Rubik's Cube or the first iteration of a Menger sponge but in a custom color palette.

Beneath the jacket, she wears a sleeveless purple top with a chest cut-out in the shape of a quadrilateral, complemented by a pendant necklace featuring a dangling golden puzzle cube. Her short pleated magenta skirt is decorated with white mathematical and quantum physics formulas and Morse code and is secured with a black belt slung across her hips, to which the same cube accessory is attached. To complete her look, she wears a pair of bright yellow Crocs, adding a quirky and casual touch to her otherwise calculated appearance. The soles of the Crocs are black and feature the characteristic holes and buttons typical of the original design.

Henya also comes with additional props that she can hold: a detailed leather-bound book titled "Quantum Physics," with an atomic symbol embossed in gold.

* Henya's fans are officially called "Hentai" written as HEN隊. This is derived from the first part of Henya's name (Hen) and "Tai", meaning "squad" (隊). It's also a pun on "hentai" (変態, lit. "strange appearance") a Japanese slang word for "perverted."

* Henya's name is based on the Spanish word "genia," meaning "genius."
* According to her profile on the VShojo website, she uses the spelling "Henya" because she can't remember how to spell the Spanish word "genia," despite her IQ of 999. In fact, she misspelled it during her debut stream.
* Outside of lore, the name "Henya" was initially suggested by VShojo staff. The "-nya" was a factor in Henya choosing the name, as it reminded her of cats.
* After escaping from a research facility that studies children with unique abilities, she has retreated into a hyperdimensional space to hide from her pursuers. She describes herself as a professional genius hikikomori.

* The "Quantum Physics" textbook she carries is a reference to the movie Men in Black, where the firing range scene features a cardboard cutout of a girl carrying a book with that title.
* Her cube necklace can cause her eyes to glow blue, but the reason is a mystery. Additionally, it has the power to charge her phone. It and other electrical appliances.
* The morse code on her skirt ".. ..-. / -.-- --- ..- / -.-. .- -. / .-. . .- -.. / - .... .. ... --..-- / -.-- --- ..- .-. . / .- / -. . .-. -.." translates to "IF YOU CAN READ THIS, YOURE A NERD".
* It is technically missing the apostrophe in "YOU'RE," which in Morse code would be ".."
* The equation on her dress is a simplified.
* In a Twitch stream called "COLLB with VShojo girls! playing games! I am excited~!", Projekt Melody asked Henya if her age, like her IQ, was also 999. Henya jokingly replied that her age is 8 billion.
* Henya was Research Subject 13, the same as her September 13th birthdate.

* Her favorite games are horror games (although she is scared of them), zombie games (including Resident Evil), games by From Software (including Dark Souls), Minecraft, Final Fantasy X, and the Grand Theft Auto series.
