That said, there are rumours that the basement of the café harbours an illicit gambling ring and the kitchen staff are rats bent on celebrating birthdays with ice-cream and cake. Hiyo has luscious pink locks that cascade around her face, blue eyes and generally wears pink - the best colour! She is most often wearing her café outfit but has been rumoured to don other, more celestial attire.

On 24 April, Hiyo held her first fundraiser, raising $1,501 for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research, a cause close to her with her mother suffering from the disease from a young age.

On 23 April, Hiyo's community got their first glimpse at the design of her second Live2D character model.

On 20 July, Hiyo came forward with an announcement about her real life struggle with learning difficulties, an invisible disability.

2025
On 13 March, Hiyo debuted as Magical Girl Hiyo and ran a subathon that concluded on 1 April, 2025 after 102 hours and gaining 1621 subs, exceeding the goal of 1K subs by over 60%.
On 15 September, Hiyo held her third Parkinsons Research fundraiser, raising $1,925, just shy of her previous year's record. The event was marked by one of the staff of the Michael J Fox Foundation arriving in chat during stream to thank Hiyo and her community for all the support.
On 11 December, Hiyo was finally granted Twitch Partner status after incredible support from her community.
