Despite Char's intimidating looks, she is kind and caring. She has even described herself as a dork and a big baby. She is viewed by the Charmy as a strong, genuine person and a leader, but also a softie. Her goals are to inspire and help others, rather than being simply entertaining.

She is not very competitive, but will never back down from a challenge. She prefers to train for growth and fun.

Char is quite open about her life outside of being a VTuber. She often discusses her family and her real job, but insists she is a Commander living in space.

Char's design is inspired by Char Aznable a.k.a. "The Red Comet" from the Mobile Suit Gundam anime series. She wears a similar red and black military uniform with gold-colored edges. Her hair is long, blonde with an ahoge and her eyes are described as "baja blast" colored. Her pantsu is blue. She has a red ribbon with light gold stripes and a reddish earring.

She is sometimes seen wearing dark sunglasses usually to make an entrance or to laugh at someone.

Char first made an appearance in Kamiko Kana's birthday stream when Tsunderia was first revealed on 23 June 2020. She made her official debut on her own channel a few days later.

She was asked to debut earlier in 2020 but had to delay due her living situation at the time. She also suffered an injury from a climbing accident that left her bedridden for a week.

She played it as a punishment for being defeated in her first Smash Ultimate stream against viewers. * In Rosuuri's VTuber debut stream, she discussed her VTuber daughters, Char and Purin, whom she illustrated. However, Char's image was accompanied by a close-up of her thighs.
