Early in his career he was teased frequently on twitter by Mirai Akari. One of the most hilarious moments was when Akari abruptly entered into the conversation when Inui was exchanging tweets with fellow Tenmakinin ver G. member Gorilla. She prior to this exchange gave him the nicknames "Ero-ninja" (エロ忍者) and "Ikiri-Shinichiro" (イキリ伸一郎, lit. Show-off Shinichiro)
Due to the fact that Inui shares the same character thematic with the Asano triplets (all of them come from the ninja world), that they have frequent exchanges on Twitter, in particular with Ruri.
