Joy is a mechanized warhorse built in the far future, where aliens have completely invaded and taken over. She has horse-like features such as ears and a tail and an iconic horse shoe and star symbol that can be found throughout her design and assets. The pilot inside is currently unknown, but chat often likes to joke that there is a bee or another tiny horse inside. Joy was unable to finish her testing and training courses in time to save her world, and with only one free human left, was sent back in time in hopes that she could finish her training and even save the world before the aliens ever attacked. Once reaching the past, she discovered the joy of anime and video games and idol culture and decided that would be way more fun to pursue than heroism. She learned about equal labor laws and decided that she was never going to do anything for free ever again. If people didn't pay her enough she would avoid helping them, or sometimes even undo the help she had already given. Hence the idea of "hero-taxes" which is what she calls the quarters people pay her in.

The Joy we know in the present, has an upbeat, easily excitable personality. She dives into everything she does with two feet and rarely takes a moment to breathe or look back. She is unstoppable and bold, taking risks to achieve the high expectations she sets for herself and her content. Joy is extremely stubborn once set in her ways. If she starts a project she will almost always see it through and it is very hard to convince her to let go of anything, even if the goals she sets for said projects are unfortunately out of her reach. She often takes on way more projects than the average person should be able to handle, and while sometimes they don't always work out to live up to her perfectionist-level standards, fans can almost always describe her work as charming and authentic. Joy is extremely outgoing, and cares a lot about her friends both new and old, though that doesn't stop her from occasionally getting jealous and partaking in dramatic rants, halfway about being jealous, and the other half being about the guilt she feels over her jealousy. She tries very hard to keep most of her content light and playful, partaking in teasing and banter between her and her beloved friends and fans. Despite trying her best to keep things light, there are many times where she could accurately be described as obnoxious or even juvenile as opposed to amusing. She particularly enjoys annoying and ragebaiting people she doesn't even know, as can be seen throughout her many fortnite streams, but acquaintances and familiar faces are not off the hook from falling victim to her schemes.

On top of ragebaiting and perfectionism, she can also be found planning silly activities and content, such as her first karaoke stream when she and chat were "kidnapped by aliens to learn the true meaning of karaoke" or several other silly skits and roleplays and improvised streams involving her and her friends. If she took the time to plan out her content more, it would probably end up looking even more amazing, but Joy is extremely reckless and impatient, and therefore usually only plans her projects a few weeks in advance.

Joy has the appearance of a tall slender woman with green eyes and duo colored pink and blonde hair pulled back into twin tails. She has a single streak of pink in her bangs and has a few different outfits.

Joy's "default" outfit is a translucent body suit with pink and black armor coated in scratches. Certain pink areas of her outfit glow. She also has a visor on the top of her head and two railguns which she can toggle on and off on her model.

*Joy is good friends with fellow VTubers, AvionnaVT, Koa Himari, Viri Sylvaine, and more. *Joy has a few notable "siblings" including catboymech, Kurohana Inori, and Cecilia Amberfall. *Joy's genmates were Perry Poko, Sylvia Sorano, and Vesper Kurogiri.

Joy's fans are known as the Chadvalry. Joy has a personified version of them as a mascot she often refers to as Cava, and keeps on her desk while she's streaming.

*Joy is a cyborg horse. *She was created to save her world from an invading species Perry Poko is a part of. *She decided to become a streamer because she wanted an easy way to achieve fame and money without having to do "all the regular hard hero stuff."
