Luniafin: The Relic of the Eternal Tide
Luniafin, when she was a young girl, had a life full of hardships. The only place where she could truly express her feelings, her sadness, and her struggles was the sea. Day after day, she would go there, seeking comfort in the waves, finding a strange peace in the rhythm of the water.
One night, under... the soft glow of the moon, Luniafin fell asleep by the shore. The waves gently carried her into the sea, and it felt like a dream a fantastical, otherworldly dream. In that dream, an ancient spirit appeared: a fox-shark hybrid with cyan glowing veins and eyes that burned with inner fire.
The spirit spoke: "Why do you always come here so sad?"
Luniafin replied softly, "Because life is hard…"
The spirit looked deep into her eyes. "I can make you happier in every way. There is a glow in your eyes… don’t give up."
But the blessing was more powerful than her human form could bear. To protect her as she transformed, the spirit cast a secondary spell. As Luniafin drifted into the deep, the water around her crystallized into a bioluminescent, abyssal ice.
Luniafin didn't wake up the next morning. Instead, she slept in a beautiful, glowing stasis for one thousand years. While the world above changed, grew, and forgot her name, she remained preserved at the bottom of the ocean, her body slowly absorbing the fox-shark's magic. The eternal frost turned a lock of her hair white, and the spirit's energy carved glowing cyan pathways through her skin.
Suddenly, Luniafin woke up. The ice shattered as she rose to the surface of a modern world.
Something was different she could feel a strange energy coursing through her veins, warm and alive. She ran her fingers through her hair; small, fluffy ears were emerging from her head. Cyan markings glowed faintly across her body, radiating warmth and power. And then, as she shifted her gaze downward, she saw a sleek, powerful shark tail a symbol of the millennium she had survived.
In the silence of a new era, she whispered, "What… what’s happening? Why do I feel this way?"
She was no longer just a girl. She was a Relic of the Tides, carrying a thousand years of strength, the fox-shark spirit’s blessing, and a fire that could never be extinguished, no matter how much time had passed.
