A raven that was once on the brink of death was rescued by a gentle woman who lived deep in a misty forest. He was filled with the warmth of her moonlight and decided to stay with her for some time. He gave her all of his wisdom from the many places he had been, and in return she taught him magic.
The woman was unable to leave the invisible... walls that kept her captive within her own manor because of a curse.
The raven grew attached to her and decided to stay with her until the day she took her last breath. After that, the raven was so lonely and sad that he accidentally used her teachings in a way that brought eternal night to the whole forest and took over the manor.
Legends say that those who dare to enter the forest become Moonbound to him, and he decides whether they are worthy of finding hospitality in his master's manor or remain forever lost and suffer their fate.
And so he waits, forever tending the manor she once called home. He takes care of it just as he does with his guests, in the name of his master. Show more
