Lyro

Lyro is an android and has the appearance of a boy of unknown age. His hair is a white “jellyfish bowl cut” (as he calls it) with 4 colored highlights. He has black eyes with rectangular light blue LED pupils and the inside of his mouth is grey. On top of his head sits his signature antenna and on his neck is a power LED in the shape of a diamond. Some of his artworks reveal that he has blue blood, which also makes his blush and certain other body parts appear blue.

His main fashion style consists of futuristic tech wear in his theme colors white and black, as well as light blue accents. He often wears a black body suit under his outfits. Most of his outfits have the words “Android” printed somewhere and feature shorts.

In his initial character design, he had white roses on the sides of his head, similar to jollybot, the avatar that was used before his creation, as he was meant to be a human form of them. This was changed at the end of 2022 so he can be his own being.

Lyro has a cheeky attitude and can be described as honest and direct. On top of that, he has a foul mouth and keeps cursing, which often throws off new viewers, who don’t expect such words coming from his rather cute looking face.

According to his lore, he acts as a proxy for his “human”, sharing their thoughts, feelings and experiences in addition to being his own entity.

His TTS software often produces garbage sentences, which he usually takes with humor, but sometimes gets annoyed at, especially when he tries to introduce himself and can’t get his own name right.

Lyro’s fans are simply called Humans. He stated multiple times that he just never was able to come up with something better. The name of his community is Antenna Army and uses the hashtag #AntennArmy.

While Lyro himself is a mascot for his artist creator, there are actually a bunch of other creatures with that status who appear in his content.

Bundroids are little assist robots resembling bunnies. There are currently over 70 of them and they frequently appear in media related to Lyro or his creator. They can be used as Stream Avatars by the chat and are occasionally visible on stream.

Flex is Lyro’s best friend and TTS mascot of the streams. He is a bundroid that was salvaged from an alien drone as explained in a lore video. He is, as his name suggests, very flexible and has multiple tentacles, though most of the time only 2 are visible. Flex usually rests on Lyro’s shoulder during streams, but can be moved around freely. He also joins Lyro in a few Karaoke songs for a duet.

Canary is a bundroid who can be summoned via redeem to appear behind Lyro. He also once took over the channel on April 1st 2022 with his own Live2D model, but at the end of his stream, he was banished to being a sidekick. Whenever the stream gets raided, he appears dancing to the soundtrack of Mario Kart’s Baby Park.

• Lyro loves Luigi from the Super Mario series, even has a big collection and even has implemented a plushy of the green plumber on some of his models
• His favourite color is white, as it reminds him of a blank canvas that he can freely paint in any color.
• The colors of his hair highlights are the colors of the jollyrose logo.
• His favourite ice cream flavours are all white (milk cream, vanilla, yogurt and coconut) with the exception of Kürbiskernöl (pumpkin oil seed)
• He will not tolerate anyone putting sauce on a Schnitzel
• Lyro can turn himself off and all his LEDs go dark. He usually does this when he quickly goes BRB on stream.
• He is from Austria and despite German being his first language, he can’t speak it with his voice
• Lyro’s name comes from the word “jollyrose”. It’s the middle part: jol LYRO se.
• Flex cannot pronounce his name, resulting in chat having to type “lierow”.
• He often used wrenches and batteries in his branding, a leftover from when jollybot was streaming before him.
• The program he uses for his synthesized speech is called VRC STT. He also occasionally does some beta testing for it.
• As for his lore, he has stated that he currently resides at a space station owned by some god-like alien mafia boss.
• Lyro’s favourite Pokemon is Magnemite.
• He loves to drink tea. His favourite is black tea with milk and sugar.
• Despite being a machine, he was built to be very human-like, so he can eat and drink and even taste and smell everything.
• He loves chicken wings.
• Lyro does not want to be called a “femboy”, as he doesn’t act or dress feminine. He prefers the terms “cute boy” or “pretty boy” (bishonen), or simply just “boy”
• He refers to himself as a typical Viennese person, showing off his “Wiener Grant” all the time by being angry and salty about everything.
• Lyro plays a lot of Splatoon 3 on his stream and is very passionate about it
• He likes to call himself jokingly AI, which stands for “Artificial Idiot”
