Mio Shellyu

Mio is depicted as a sleepy hermit with a marine-inspired appearance reflecting her origins beneath the sea. Her design incorporates motifs associated with hermit crabs and seashells, while emphasizing a relaxed and cozy aesthetic befitting her personality.

Although born as the heir to an underwater culinary empire, Mio has little interest in royal duties or gourmet cuisine. Instead, she enjoys spending her time cuddling plushies, playing video games, snacking, and writing code.

Following her exile to the surface, Mio discovered a passion for programming, often staying awake late into the night creating colorful digital worlds. Despite her talent, she is just as likely to procrastinate by relaxing or gaming.

Mio was introduced as one of the six members of E-ROI's first generation, Rift, prior to the group's debut.

Mio Shellyu is the rebellious heir to the prestigious Shellyu family, owners of Marée Et Pince, a renowned six-pearl restaurant in the underwater city of Aquamarou. While her parents devoted themselves to the culinary arts, Mio rejected the family's legacy in favor of surface-world pop culture, video games, plushies, and a relaxed lifestyle. To make matters worse, she is unable to stomach seafood, making it impossible for her to follow in her family's footsteps.

After failing to prove herself at business school, Mio's parents exiled her to the surface, instructing her not to return until she discovered her true talent. Before her departure, she was entrusted with the Shellyu Pearl, a family heirloom said to shine only when its bearer discovers their true calling. At the time, the pearl remained completely dark.

Unable to find success in conventional jobs on the surface, Mio eventually found her place in the digital world. There, she discovered a passion for programming and began creating virtual worlds, communities, and stages of her own. Rather than continuing her family's culinary legacy, Mio seeks to forge a new legacy through creativity and technology, hoping that one day her creations will become a masterpiece her family could never have crafted in the kitchen.
