One day, the baker seemingly disappeared for an indetermined amount of time, leaving Saltea into a perpetual state of stagnation.
As time moved on, Saltea wished to find where his owner went off to, so he tried to break through the walls of his... confinement to no avail. Eventually, he would break free through sheer desire & willpower, breaking from the simple program he resided from.

However, due to his aptitude of being a virtual being and going against his base coding, he became corrupted with a need to be seen.

He had gain free will, but at the cost of a flooding of emotions he couldn't understand from the many years of solitude, causing him to instantly forget many things.
