Through an 'experimental accident' in the data plane involving spirit technology, Lyra Rose was flung from her prestigious life as the Megacorp Director of R.O.S.E Enterprises... and trapped in the virtual world of the early 2020s. Gone were the near-human AIs, psychic tech and jacking into the cyber realm, replaced by the primitive '5G' and digital watches. Now, Lyra bides her time exploring countless virtual worlds as a 'vtuber', adventuring through everything from an abandoned bug kingdom to living through enthralling stories with dashing villains and horrible heroes.
