On 15 January, Mimi decided to cease her online activities and go into an indefinite hiatus for personal reasons.
On 16 December, she made a post on Twitter expressing her desire to properly rig her 1.0 model.
2025
On 30 January, she announced plans to re-rig her model.
On 13 February, Mimi held a surprise karaoke stream, returning after a two-year hiatus and officially resuming her activities as a VTuber. During the stream, she teased an unnamed new mascot and shared plans for updated rigging with a new model.
On 3 March, she chose "Mimirs" as the official name for her fanbase.
On 22 March, she debuted her 3D chibi model, nicknamed "Bean Mimi" by her community, on YouTube.
On 18 May, Mimi did her official debut. She came up with her model fully re-rigged, and with a large number of new assets. She can notably get cat ears with a tail, and hold a rifle gun.
