Chiaki Katsumi

Chiaki is a very enthusiastic and passionate hacker, always willing to share everything related to the gaming industry and a variety of different games. She is known to wear her heart on her sleeve, despite her efforts of playing it cool; this being especially notorious when she gets excited talking about something she is passionate about. While she can get easily excited, Chiaki can also maintain a relaxed attitude as she doesn't really possess a competitive streak, and prefers to have fun over competing with others.

She is known to have a bit of a stubborn streak, as she doesn't like to leave things unfinished and see things through the end, which can often lead to long hours of trying to overcome a challenge before she is satisfied. Due to her determination to always improving herself, she is always looking for ways to improve on her skills, such as editing her own videos, as she mentioned in one of her streams.

She has light blue hair in twintails and cat eared headphones with pink eyes. She has dark shoes with blue soles and pink heart straps.

On December 17 2022, PixelLink announced auditions for its first generation of members. Auditions ran until 7 January 2023, with the deadline extended to 14 January to allow applicants who were behind schedule due to the holiday period. PixelLink aimed to contact successful applicants by 21 January, and model designs were reportedly pre-made.

Chiaki Katsumi's YouTube channel was created on 12 March 2023, and her Twitter account was created in the same month. She is one of five members of PixelLink first generation PixelStart+, alongside Raki Kazuki, Miuna Usako, Lottie Shinju, and Nebi Nebu.

Her debut stream took place on 16 June 2023.

The group had published a leak on social media of previously stolen funds. Due to the group's work becoming a spectacle they started getting more leads, and by chance PixelLink was on the list. She was caught hacking them, but they presented her an offer along revealing they knew her true identity. ** Ranger reminded her that she is not close to the other Nylena members, but she should play it nice with PixelLink. She was sent of an axolotl princess being shunned, a forgotten bunny plush transforming into a bunny humanoid, a racoon humanoid witch digging through a dumpster, and an alien sealed in a cylindric tank of a labratory. Ranger asked if she wanted to help them, but she responded that her line of work means she can not be close to others. However, someone bumps into her and promises that they will make her wish become true. * Her age is classified. In her debut presentation, Chiaki typed this in binary, requiring it to be translated. * Her species is "Maine coon" (biggest cat species, despite being smol) * Her occupation is "information broker" (hacker, but more formal). * She has an intern at Nylena.

Katsumi is her surname. ** Chiaki is the only member in the first generation of PixelLink to have her Japanese name entirely in Kanji. * She first sang during her membership celebration stream, revealing that her voice sounds like an angel when singing. * Chiaki is fluent in Spanish and can easily switch between English and Spanish. This was demonstrated in her membership celebration stream when she sang in Spanish. * Chiaki is generally considered the "leader" of PixelStart+, due to being the one to bring them together in their lore. * One of Chiaki's favorite ways of addressing viewers is as "chief". * She appeared on the PixelLink audition page. * One of Chiaki's goals is to speedrun Babysitting Mama * Her old design shared the same character designer as Fujikura Uruka of Phase-Connect, Serena Starstruck and Tokaku〜ん of Stellar Verse Productions, and independent Vtuber Hoshizora Mirin. * Her current design shares the same character designer as Mivi Aivori of V&U and Taring Hu from Globie.

Feared and revered by many, Chiaki is the leader of the renowned hacker organization, Nylena. Though she tries to live up to her imposing title, her playful nature cannot be easily contained, and her gaming spirit runs strong.
