Murasaki Hiroshi

Hiroshi is a very forward and honest individual, often speaking his mind and giving off a sincere atmosphere in his streams. He is incredibly curious and intelligent, seeking a deeper understanding of anything that intrigues him, no matter how trivial. His favorite games tend to come from the mid 1990s to early 2000s, such as the Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy X, and Resident Evil franchises.

Hiroshi has short black hair with bangs reaching his eyes, and is often seen wearing thin-framed glasses. He wears a black body suit, consisting of many seams, buckles, and green accessories. a large, full cape drapes down from his waist, black on one side and green on the other. Syringes rest strapped to his belt and wrists, said belt having some sort of interface on the buckle.

Hiroshi's online persona is a character that has represented him for over a decade. It persisted through use in many roleplaying games like Second Life, Vampire the Masquerade, etc... Prior to VTubing, Hiroshi was already very active in the community, having done graphic design projects for VTubers like Trickywi, Vox Akuma, and Vienna.

Hiroshi first began streaming on 27 May, 2020 and, prior to beginning streaming full time, held secret streams on a separate Twitch channel that is still unknown to most. His debut was announced on Twitter for 30 April, 2022. Prior to the stream, his Twitch channel had already amassed over 5000 followers.

*Hiroshi can speak English, Spanish, French, Arabic, and Japanese, as well as some Portuguese and Chinese. He is also fluent in Hodor. *He prefers to play games on the highest difficulty, as he enjoys the challenge and "games where he dies a lot". *Hiroshi has done science illustrations for Harvard as well as graphic design and illustration commissions for streamers, but does not think of himself as an artist. *Hiroshi's favorite type of soup is zucchini and broccoli soup. He eats a lot of zucchini, for some reason. *Hiroshi has a penchant for spanking misbehaving students with his ruler.

I am a digital painter and graphic artist specializing in scientific illustration and realistic illustration for teaching, research, and science communication purposes. Upon request, I also apply myself in cartoon or Manga styles.

My goal in life is to combine science with art to communicate it to many people: not everyone is lucky enough to... see the beauty of science, and I hope, through the tools provided by social media and the web in general, to communicate these beautiful concepts. To as many people as possible.

I spent many years looking for the right formula, and today I finally came to say: I love the work I do. Every time I start a scientific art project, I feel happy and satisfied: for a curious person like me, having the opportunity to learn new things, which make me grow intellectually, is something very precious. There are three things I absolutely want to do in life: travel to space, do the comic book version of “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”, and work in Cambridge.
