Nivi The Salmon

Nivi is a soft-spoken and shy girl, who speaks in a gentle voice. As seen from her first "330 challenge" stream, Nivi felt anxious to reveal her voice and said that she'd "hide herself" just after asking if the viewers can hear her. After a few voiced streams though, she starts getting used to it, and has become more interactive with her fans, either in her YouTube streams or her Discord server. Her gentle voice is also adored by her viewers, due to its soothing tone.

She is also kind and friendly to everyone, including her family and fans. She greets a lot of her viewers individually in her streams, and makes them feel welcome and comfortable. She does exhibit sadism in some occasions, but it is seen more as a playful joke for laughs than an actual habit. She likes to have fun with people, whether it be while playing games, drawing, or talking about various things. Because of all this, she gives off the impression of a caring and playful sister.

She can be somewhat forgetful at times, to the point where her fans often remind her about things she should remember. This can range from game mechanics or tasks, to her personal condition such as drinking water and the like. Because of this, she is thankful to her fans, who keep an eye out on her well-being.

Once upon a time a little salmon was born under the water of a river somewhere in this world. When she was born the rest of the salmons already left the place. She was feeling alone and lost. Hey is someone out there? Mommy? Daddy? She swam and swam but she didn’t find anyone. Hey this salmon. This is me.

Then I started looking for my parents. But I couldn’t even differentiate males and females. One day some police found me. Little salmon you cannot be there. You should be studying at school. And they brought me to the school of salmon. So I went to the school of salmons. There was a lot of salmons around my age. I felt a little safe. In the school they taught us math and science and other boring things. One day one classmate told me: Nivi, don’t we look very similar. And then I answered: Yeah we look pretty similar. And then another classmate: We look similar too. And then another classmate came and said: Yes we look pretty similar. And then another classmate came. And then I realized they were all my siblings. I wasn’t alone. Yes. I have a lot of siblings. 1000 or more. But I don’t remember their names. Maybe some of them don’t have names. Just call them salmon. We had a lot of fun, but good time doesn’t last forever. We graduated from school. After that we had to go to University of salmons.

But me and my sister didn’t go to University of salmon. We escaped and went to the sea directly. Taste of the sea water was really nice. Yes, we escaped from the University and went to the sea. We thought we were free, but I was wrong. There was a lot of predators. Sharks, whales, and the worst: humans. We didn’t know about existence of humans, we only heard about them but I always thought that humans were stupid because they use a thing called rod to fish. But this time I was wrong, they used thing called net to catch all the fish in the sea. I can say that humans are dumb, I am also now a human so I can call humans dumb. Me and my sister were caught but my young sister escaped to the sea because she was really small.

I thought that would be my end. The fishermen were selling us in the port. Look, this man is selling fish, and this woman bought me. They were talking about something that I couldn’t understand because at that moment I didn’t know human language. After buying me she brought me to her house. And guess what she did with me. Well, she brought me to her house and she started pouring cyan potion on me, but the potion didn’t work and she was angry, she was very angry. She was angry because she was trying to transform fish into human. But she always fails, now she is angry, very angry. I spent those days with her in aquarium. Very small aquarium. But after many days she used orange potion and I turned into human. She took care of me. I can’t say she was a bad person. She was really nice to me. She fed me and washed me. Well. But she wasn’t happy at all because I was only 99% human so she was angry. I didn’t know how to walk and how to speak human language, just like human babies. Yes, I studies many languages. Maybe that’s why I an not good at English. One day I tried to sleep in aquarium again and I almost killed myself. I lived in her house for many months, but one day she told me: Now you are a human, you have to go to work and she kicked me out. Yes, because humans have to work.

After she kicked me out I didn’t know where to go. I walked, walked and walked and I was hungry. And I wanted something to eat. Then I found a place with a lot of food. And guess what place is that. Yes, supermarket. I found a supermarket. Place with a lot of food. Then I started eating, eating a lot. I never tried those things so I ate everything. After few minutes old woman told me: You can’t eat that, you have to pay first. She was really angry. Then I asked: How do I pay? She said: With money. Money? I don’t have that. Then she told: Tell me number to your parents. I will call them. Then I answered: I don’t know who my parents are. There are somewhere in deep ocean. I have never met them in my life. Suddenly that old woman told me: Poor girl. Your parents are in better place. I think she didn’t know there are sharks and whales. And then she said, that if I will work for her she will give me place to live and some food but she will not pay me anything.

And that is how I started working in a supermarket. In the beginning there were almost no customers, but after few months I have made many friends here. This place was really empty, but now is full of people. At least it is better than before. Thank you for being here.

• She is talented at drawing, as seen from her many drawing streams. Part of this is due of her dream of becoming a professional artist.
• She has a little sister who she calls by the name "Peanut". She made a couple of appearances in Nivi's streams.
• She sometimes uses the waving hand emoji (👋) to "slap" her viewers due to various reasons. One of her channel emotes is similar to said emoji, and is sometimes used in a similar fashion.
• During free-talk supermarket streams, and sometimes in other streams, she occasionally mentions and/or presents strange-looking cuisines, such as a "raccoon lasagna", a "sausage croissant" resembling a snail, etc.
• Nivi also has another persona, though it's created by the viewers rather than Nivi. It was named "Vini" by the viewers. In reality, "Vini" is the 2d fish model that Nivi used at the start of the "330 challenge", and is still being used in a few streams. She uses this model mostly in funny moments or when she wishes to use her "bonking pan" without using her bunny outfit.
• According to Nivi, her first karaoke stream was actually done sooner than she had planned. The reason was because one of the subscribers got access to a private stream where she was practicing songs. Thinking that it wasn't fair for her other fans, she did the karaoke stream earlier than planned.
