Lore
Quorri is a reincarnated soul who was chosen by a goddess of life as her predecessor due to the rough life she had in every reincarnation—even though she has never racked up a lot of karma for it to be so severe. After she was reincarnated as a goddess and had become the “Heart” of the universe –the meaning of her name– she lived alone for eons in the void of space within her domain. But after she began to feel lonely after witnessing another creation of a new universe being formed, she realized that this one was different. This one had life forms varying in different shapes and sizes, and when she witnessed them die, their souls would appear in her domain. Because of this, she became known as a protector, mother figure, caretaker, and more as she took care of everyone who has stayed within her domain. She has many powers, including shapeshifting and the ability to modify memories and split souls; as well as to reincarnate, transmigrate, and isekai a soul into a world/universe that's best suited for them. But when they leave, they all have to forget about her and the time they spent in her domain, since it's more like a resting spot onto their new journey. When she realized this, she became lonely again but she had loved them all the same. After she heard tales of the modern world from the souls she called Starlings, she wanted to know about how they look, how they live, and what life they get to experience before death; since to her, they all took the form of a blue soul flame while to the souls themselves, they looked exactly how they did before they entered her domain.
When she went down to modern earth in her first form (a brown haired feline humanoid), she didn’t know where to go. A very long time had passed until Quorri began to travel on foot for an even longer time without rest, and that was when she came across someone who also had the same cat ears and tail as her, but in different colors. Upon introducing herself, Quorri had recognized this Starling as the one who had told her about modern earth just decades ago. However, not knowing the consequences that would arise from telling the Starling about herself, Quorri simply introduced herself as a stranger. The two chatted and had become close, or so Quorri had believed. The Starling invited her to play videogames after sharing each other's interest in witchcraft. Though Quorri didn’t know how to play certain games—or use technology for that matter, the Starling was patient with her. And after several weeks had passed, the two had become well acquainted, but Quorri felt a familiar pull elsewhere. And without a word to the Starling, she left. Although sad that the Starling would soon forget her as they weren't in proximity of each other, Quorri knew that the Starling would be safe and alright.
Quorri walked on foot for several days since —as she didn't need oxygen or sustenance to survive— until she realized the familiar pull was leading her to a wandering soul she remembered a long time ago, and has yet to re-enter her domain. She approached the abandoned shrine, the name long since faded from view. It wasn’t until she witnessed him again that she knew he needed help. Quorri approached him first, even knowing how weary he must’ve been, but took the chance and offered her services to help him. Although skeptical at first, after introducing himself as Anarchy, the effort Quorri put in to show she meant no harm was worth the trouble. She began helping him by bringing lost souls whose time was nearing to his cult, earning the title as one of his high priestesses and a close friend.
Before the making of Anarchy’s cult, Quorri travelled a great distance again but to the sea this time, another pull bringing her there while searching for lost souls. It was another Starling she knew, and had worked hard to earn her trust. She was finally able to become close friends with the Starling who became a mermaid named Noa, before becoming acquainted with a sky dragon named Thrynn. She was traveling back to help Anarchy when Noa stopped her, and asked to stay in touch through social media. With this, Quorri became extremely confused as she didn't know what that was. After a long discussion and sincere worry, Noa helped Quorri in buying a phone to start out; downloading the apps she uses and automatically adding her to Quorri’s contacts. When she arrived back to Anarchy, she began asking him questions that should be obvious to answer for modern day. He aimed to help her as she’s been helping him without complaint, but he ended up getting a headache as his patience began to waned. Feeling terrible about her lack of knowledge with technology, Quorri stopped asking him for help as she noticed he was getting in a bad mood. After noticing she really didn’t have any ill intentions, he decided to help her through this learning curve.
After less than two months of being down on Earth, she was able to get the hang of technology thanks to everyone's kindness and support. And thanks to her supportive grim reaper fiancé, Danny, he had gotten her a laptop so that she can stay further connected with the friends she made. When she stared at the laptop, Quorri had a memory of her conversation with Thyrnn before she had left; Thrynn was melancholy about how she would no longer be able to visit, but he understood nonetheless. However Quorri had asked him a final question when she saw his streaming equipment. "What is the purpose of those technological objects, Thyrnn?" With a grin, Thyrnn answered her. "It allows me to stay connected with those I have and haven't met. I am able to see faraway friends and those close when I'm not able to see them. It is easier to understand once you have gone through it yourself, so I implore you to give it a chance, Quorri. You have a wonderful voice, so I'm sure you'll be able to make wonderful memories if you decide to stream and connect with those you meet." She knew the world of gaming was still new to her, but she overall had fun and began to fall in love with it.
After having tried streaming a few times, Quorri thought to herself with a gentle smile upon her lips. 'Ah...so this is what you meant, Thyrnn. Thank you, I never would've done this had you not encouraged me to do so.' Once Quorri had gotten more comfortable with those she became close friends with, she decided it was time to take on a proper human form. But as she's still insecure about her true form being shown to those she streams to, —as well as unsure of the consequences that may come with it— Quorri wasn't sure if they would like her true self. So, she decided it was best to keep it hidden until she’s no longer afraid, and has since been incorporating features of her true form little by little into her current form.
