ReiStar Cosplay

ReiStar has a very bubbly personality and always excited about many things related to sewing and crafting. Her love of sewing is very much seen throughout her streams especially when admiring the details in games she plays. ReiStar comes across as not only easy going but also passionate, always encouraging her viewers to pursue their hobbies or give things a try even if it doesn’t always work out and turn out that fun.

ReiStar is a Spirit Guardian Seamstress who oversees the String of Fate. Those whose strings attach to her left hand shall be guided. The type of guidance is dependent on which finger they are attached to. ReiStar is often seen with the string of fate on her pinky, representing her promise to her viewers that she will guide them to their smiles.

• Theme: ReiStar’s theme is centered around sewing; her dress is a dress form with tailor’s tape (often used to map out the bust, waist, hips, and apex on the body). Sleeves and Side Skirt represents draping fabric onto the dress form. Even her gloves/stockings represents DIY as it is an actual piece anyone can create and the tutorial can still be found.
• Dress: Dark blue with light blue and red stripes.
• Hair: Milk tea brown hair. Jellyfish long style pulled up into pigtails; short layer flipped out and two long curls with a Cinnamon bun style curl at the ends.
• Eyes: Dark Teal Blue with light blue stars.
• Accessories: Wears star hair combs placed in front of pigtails; stars has the broken star design from her logo. Gold embroidery scissor necklace. Measuring tape wrapped around twice along with spools of threads laced together around her hips. Star bag with her signature and matching logo as seen on her pigtails.
• Other Clothing Items: Long gloves with cut outs down along arm and covering only the middle and ring finger with a lace detail at the top and star buttons. Leggings imitate the long gloves. Red wedge heels with gems, gold lace, and sewing charms.
• Red String of Fate: Mostly seen on her left pinky.

ReiStar originally made her debut online as a cosplayer in 2008 and has won a variety of awards in cosplay competitions ranging from honorable mentions to Best in Show. She was also one of the finalists chosen to be a part of the Her Universe Fashion Show in 2016, her design inspired by Howl's Moving Castle.

ReiStar has an AA Degree in Fashion/Costume design and went to work in production of costumes for film and television, having worked on shows such as Titans, The Boys, Doom Patrol, and many others both as a freelance seamstress and project manager. She continues to do work as a freelance seamstress for companies.

ReiStar discovered about VTubing in June 2022. On 17 December 2022, ReiStar debuted as a VTuber on Twitch. She not only designed, drew and rigged her model, she also drew her background, the stream overlays and some of her emotes. Within a week of debut, she reached Twitch Affiliate status.

• ReiStar is the model artist and rigger of AuroraDyne and has confirmed she is currently in the works of creating more for other friends. ReiStar is still creating her own models and artwork.
• Has a gremlin model that originally started out as a joke image, then a April fools joke and now is just part of her content.
• ReiStar has two pin cushion kitties named Pinny and Needles, one representing her gamer side and the other her creative side.
