Calm and soft-spoken. Mau is a sweet and skittish girl who always strives to give her strays the most comfortable and coziest viewing experience possible. She is often tired and sleepy despite sleeping a lot throughout the day. While she often fails to notice the most obvious things in video games, Mau is very quick-witted when it comes to solving puzzles. Despite displaying a cute and friendly exterior, she sometimes says the most out of pocket things randomly.

Mau has unkempt pale lavender hair with a twirl on the right side as well as a crescent moon hairclip on the left. She wears a white patterned nightie with a big ribbon in the middle and a cat bell which is attached to a frilly white choker. A stray is seen sitting in the right pocket of her blurple jacket which matches with her dress frills. She also has long loose socks and fuzzy slippers which are made of the skin of naughty Strays.

Mau's fans are called "Strays." They are portrayed as black cats with a small tuff of fur on their head and a lavender collar.

• She loves napping. Mau can nap up to 25 hours a day.
• Her favorite cake is strawberry shortcake. Her favorite snack is chocolate, specifically Lindt milk chocolate.
• Extremely loves seafood and pizza. Her favorite is salmon.
• She loves travelling and swimming but tends to get sick a lot.
• Really really hate spiders.
• Her favorite Pokémon is Skitty.
• Her favorite dog breed is Samoyed.
• She is a sucker for romance and cozy anime. Some of her favorites include Is the Order a Rabbit?, Shinsekai Yori, Himouto! Umaru-chan and Kamisama Hajimemashita. Her favorite anime movie is Spirited Away, which is also her first movie she's watched from Studio Ghibli.
• She is an avid enthusiast of the video game franchise World of Warcraft. Her favorite class is Druid.
• Her favorite genres of video game include simulation game, city-building and MMO. Her favorite video game is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
• She dislikes coffee and anything caffeine related, though she used to be a Redbull addict.

• Can speak a lot of language but only a little bit of each. Such languages include, but are not limited to: Japanese, French, German, Italian, Meow-Meow, Mandarin, Korean and Thai.
• Is always hungry.
• She can play a bit of piano, mostly by ear.
• She has the ability to fall as sleep very quickly. Despite this, she has a very messed up sleep schedule.
• Cannot pronounce a lot of words, some of which include: "chore", "iron", "algae", "cologne", "Cthulhu".
• She used to swallow a caterpillar whole when she was 5.

• She is really good at Minesweeper.
