Ryumi is a very cheerful, jovial, effusive, and affectionate person, she's very passionate about her projects, and she loves to dance and spend time with her loved ones. She is very hyperactive and always seeks to learn new things. She also has her flaws: she has described herself as a gossipy and very resentful person, sometimes even difficult to deal with.
Ryumi's sense of humor is very varied, with the most frequent being risqué humor (related to double entendres, profanity, sensuality, or directly sexual matters), dark humor (sarcasm, irony, and absurdity), brown humour (humorous situations related to going to the bathroom), and black humor (humor based on tragic situations or controversial topics).
Ryumi is a very outspoken person, meaning she says what she thinks in the moment, with little or no delicacy. And she is also someone who doesn't let herself be intimidated. These features have caused her problems on some occasions.
Appearance
Ryumi has the appearance of a young girl with green hair. Her eyes have light honey-colored irises, and the pupils are brown. The length of her hair has varied over time; early avatar versions had short, loose hair, sometimes styled in pigtails. More recent versions show longer hair tied in a ponytail at the back of her head.
Ryumi has said she has freckles and a mole shaped like a crewmate from the game Among Us on her left buttock, which is visible in some avatars.
As for clothing, she almost always wears something green. Ryumi uses a donkey theme, but the avatar isn't an anthropomorphic donkey; rather, it's a person wearing clothing with that theme. This is due to several reasons: the donkey is an iconic animal and part of the culture of the people from caribbean coast of Colombia; and because there's a morbid fascination with the coastal people's fondness for female donkeys.. This theme is reflected in various costumes, such as donkey pajamas, and hoodies that resemble a donkey's head.

There isn't really any lore as such, since Ryumi isn't a character, but rather the person behind the avatar. The lore shown here consists of some personal things that Ryumi herself has mentioned in videos and/or streams.
Ryumi is the alias of a Colombian girl who, during the COVID-19 pandemic, discovered VTubers and decided to become one. Ryumi's personality is her real-life persona, and the stories she tells are a mix of her own anecdotes, stories told to her by people close to her, and stories she's heard or seen, with the occasional exaggeration.
The origin of the name "Ryumi" is quite simple. Initially, she wanted to call herself "Ñame" (yam) or "Yuca" (yucca), something that would represent Latin America. But she didn't like it, so she tried calling herself "Broco", because of the color green and brócoli (broccoli), but that name was already taken. She then tried combining "Ryu" and "Me", but Latin Americans would pronounce the name as "Ryume" which she didn't like, so she opted for "Ryumi". The "VT" suffix became popular among VTubers, and she followed suit. The "Ryu" comes from two reasons: one is the name of the character Ryu ( リュウ ) from the Street Fighter game; and the other is that ryū ( りゅう ) is the Japanese word for dragon, and since Ryumi was born in a Year of the Dragon, she chose that. It's basically a wordplay.
Ryumi's family consists of her grandparents, her two younger brothers, and her pets: her dogs Nina and Nona. Ryumi's grandparents raised her, so she sees them as if they were her parents.
Ryumi studied two university degrees simultaneously. She has already graduated from one and has her degree. The other degree is on hiatus. Ryumi is self-taught. She has said that she acquired her video editing skills by watching YouTube tutorials.
Ryumi is 1.74 meters tall (5'8½”), and she's usually the tallest woman of the group. This is reflected on her feet, as depending on the shoe, she can wear a size 40 up to 43 EUR (8 up to 11.5 US), which has caused her some difficulty finding women's shoes. She has even said that she shares sneakers with her grandfather.
Ryumi has had five boyfriends, and two of their names are known: Miguel and Alejandro. Ryumi has been cheated on three times, with Alejandro being the only name mentioned among her unfaithful boyfriends. She holds a huge grudge against him, to the point that hearing that name puts her in a bad mood, and she'll curse anyone with that name.
Ryumi has said that she has lived in Soledad, Sincelejo, and Malambo, towns on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. She also lived for a time in Bogotá, the country's capital. As a joke, it's said that Ryumi lives in Malambo because of the unexpected water, power, and internet outages. While she did live there for a while, she currently lives elsewhere.
Ryumi had a serious dental accident at age 19, and almost lost her front teeth. She has had treatment several times, but she has to be careful when biting into certain foods, especially fruits like apples.
Ryumi is "salada", spanish for unlucky girl. She has said in her "Canonical Events" videos and on her stream several stories where bad luck has caused her to have difficult times. She also has a jinx effect, since on several occasions when she has supported a streamer or team, that streamer or team has been eliminated shortly after receiving the support.
