Sakichina was bitten by a Sakura Kitsune when she was very little, while playing in the forest. Ever since she has been cursed with a mark on her left tight (where the Sakura Kitsune bit her). This caused Sakichina to change her hair color from black to a Sakura Pink, and many of her physical atributes increasing in size, including her height.

Present Days: It has been 400 years since the events that changed Japan, forever, Sakichina still keeps the curse of the Sakura kitsune that bite her that day in the forest, a curse that revealed to be truly miserable for her, the events of the battle of Sekigahara and the Siege of Osaka Castle, has left scars in her heart that will never heal. It’s a mystery how she managed to keep her pretty appearance in all these centuries, something that has to do with the Kitsune’s blood in her? Now in our present days, she has settled in what it is now known the prefecture of Osaka, one a majestic castle built to display the might of the Toyotomi, it is now nothing but a replica of its former glory. Saki never left the place, she kept living in a small neighbourhood and settled a small business of Kiseru pipes called “The Kitsune’s breeze”, Sakamoto Ryoma, helped her buy the small piece of land, and ever since she stayed in the shop, despite the lack of clientele, she never closed it, in honour of Ryoma.
Background: Sakichina was married to the famous Samurai, Sanada Nobushige (Sanada Yukimura). She witnessed the death of her husband, who bravely fought against the Tokugawa Shogunate to defend Osaka Castle. She tried to follow him to the grave, but was stopped in time by Sarutobi Sasuke (Yukimura's trusted shinobi). After the traumatic events of Osaka, Sakichina retired for a quiet life, becoming Date Masamune's favorite concubine. (Masamune took in Yukimura's family after his death).
