Nymeline

Nymeline used to be an ordinary girl. She worked in a small clinic run by Doctor Borrato Eros, a man who presented himself as a benevolent savior: he treated the poorest patients for free, welcomed anyone, claimed he was “researching to improve the future of medicine”, but he was hiding something far darker. She took the job because she needed... money. Her mother was sick, the treatments were too expensive, she was drowning in debt, and that clinic paid well, especially the Doctor’s secret project. Nymeline began noticing plenty of strange things: medical files with no names, sealed rooms, patients who disappeared after “experimental treatments”, until one day she was summoned by the Doctor himself. He offered her a place in a secret study, a serum supposedly capable of “enhancing the human body and curing every disease”. In exchange, he would erase all her debts and save her mother. The serum worked, but it twisted her into a creature with rabbit ears and a tail, bigger eyes, and violent instincts. Her emotions intensified, especially obsession. Only later did she learn the truth: the Doctor wasn’t curing anyone. He was selling the results of his experiments to the highest bidder, turning human beings into living prototypes, and she was just another test subject. But Nymeline refused to accept it and escaped. The clinic burned down that very night. No one knows if it was an accident or if it was her doing.
