I was once of the Silver Court of Spirits, and for a thousand moons, I reveled in that existence. But when my cycle of the Initiation Rite arrived, I stood before the choice to take a human heart and with it, end an innocent life. My people saw this ritual as sacred; I, however, could not bring myself to fulfill this duty.

My punishment was to... be sealed within a human vessel and banished to the Veil—the world between—to stand as an eternal monument to my former kin.

My name is Shikkoku. To my people, it means "Deepest Blackness." Yet here I stand in this shadowed in-between, determined to become a light within the darkness.

A seal-curse was placed upon me, symbolized by a half-white mask. My innate power to see the complete truth behind every facet was crippled by a human left eye, which now shows me only the illusion of human perception.

Rokku, my fox-like companion, is a fragment of my own power and often the source of grand chaos. Yet, in moments of doubt, he shows me resolve. When I hesitate, he strides boldly forward. He is my anchor, my reason to keep fighting this exile.

And so I am here, streaming. Do you know why? Every laugh shared in chat, every message, makes my curse falter, if only for a moment. I hope to find here a power rumored to be able to shatter even the most potent spirit-magic: true community. But with which eye will I come to see it?
