Vkano (ぶいカノ), formerly known as Propro Production (プロプロプロダクション), is a Japanese Virtual YouTuber agency. As Propro Production, their motto was " (sickly cute aesthetic) girls are attractive" (メンヘラは魅力的である). As Vkano, the agency's tagline is "This love isn't virtual, fall in love for real" (この恋はバーチャルじゃない本気で恋する). Owned and operated by Clariss Inc. (known as Propro Inc. until 17 July 2025), the agency was founded in 2020 and rebranded in 2025 under new a management structure, aiming for a fresh restart.

<p>On 21 January, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@Izumiya_Ritsu" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Izumiya Ritsu</a> made his debut on YouTube, although he had been active on Twitter and Twitcasting since he joined Actors to Live! in 2023.</p>
2024
<p>On 22 February, the group Dazzzzz Resistar was formed from the three remaining male members of Actors to Live! who did not transfer to <a href="/wiki/MAHA5" data-wiki-target="MAHA5">MAHA5JAPAN</a>.</p>
2026
<p>On 19 January, Vkano retweeted the first tweet of their upcoming third new member, <a href="/wiki/Daraan_Miavi" data-wiki-target="Daraan Miavi">Daraan Miavi</a>, who is scheduled to debut on 2 February.</p> <p>On 2 February, Daraan Miavi held her debut.</p> <p>On 8 March, Vkano announced the start of auditions for 2nd generation members, with the recruitment period lasting from 10 March to 24 March.</p>
Restructuring
<p>On 25 February, Propro announced a restructuring of its members' groupings. Starting 1 March, Propro members will be divided into three groups based on their characteristics. Instead of generations, the new groups are divided into Propro Production, Propro Gamers, and Merletto.</p> <p>On 5 March, Propro launched the "<a href="/wiki/Arcoiris_Management_System" data-wiki-target="Arcoiris Management System">Arcoiris Management System</a>" (A.M.S) VTuber support group to allow support-based affiliation with independent VTubers.</p> <p>On 1 April, <a href="/wiki/Hanakumo_Rin" data-wiki-target="Hanakumo Rin">Hanakumo Rin</a> held her graduation stream and retired.</p> <p>On 13 April, Propro announced the upcoming debut of a new Propro Production member: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@AmamiKotono" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Amami Kotono</a> (天魅ことの). Rebranding
<p>On 17 July, Propro announced that it has undergone a management restructuring, and with it also comes several changes: first, the agency's parent company Propro Inc. changes its name to: Clariss Inc. (株式会社クラリス), followed by the Propro Production agency's rebranding to: Vkano (ぶいカノ), with the intention of starting over. This includes a <a href="https://vkano.jp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">new website</a> and a <a href="https://twitter.com/Vkano_official" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">new Twitter account</a>. The agency's sole remaining talent, <a href="/wiki/Koinoya_Mai" data-wiki-target="Koinoya Mai">Koinoya Mai</a>, announced that she has decided to accept this change, and will continue working under Vkano. According to Vkano's website, Mai will both be a "Generation 0" member and a Content Producer for Vkano's junior members.</p> <p>On 19 July, Vkano announced its first new member, <a href="/wiki/Sumishiro_Rei" data-wiki-target="Sumishiro Rei">Sumishiro Rei</a> and retweeted her first tweet. Her YouTube debut is scheduled for 9 August.</p> <p>On 9 August, Sumishiro Rei held her debut.</p> <p>On 6 September, Vkano announced its second new member, <a href="/wiki/Kyui_Yui" data-wiki-target="Kyui Yui">Kyui Yui</a> on their website and also retweeted her first tweet. Her first stream was originally planned for October.</p> <p>On 23 October, Kyui Yui announced that her first stream got postponed to 1 November due to preparations taking longer than expected. She jokingly suggested that day to be considered "32 October" in order to keep her October debut promise.</p> <p>On 1 November, Kyui Yui held her debut.</p>
Actors to Live!
<p><a href="https://twitter.com/actors_to_live" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Actors To Live!</a> was the male VTuber group of Propro Production, launched in April 2023. Its official Twitter account was created on February 2023, and the first tweet was on 3 March. Its name was shortened to "Actola" (あくとら) in Japanese.</p>
Transfer to MAHA5JAPAN
<p>On 21 February, Propro announced the transfer of <a href="/wiki/Sakura_Isumi" data-wiki-target="Sakura Isumi">Sakura Isumi</a> and <a href="/wiki/Umituki_Yuru" data-wiki-target="Umituki Yuru">Umituki Yuru</a> to Actors to Live!, joining <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@Sayonaki_Mio" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sayonaki Mio</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@Irodori_Irori" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Irodori Irori</a> and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@hitoyo-enishi" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Hitoyo Enishi</a> (staff). The 5 of them were then transferred as a group externally to the agency <a href="/wiki/MAHA5" data-wiki-target="MAHA5">MAHA5JAPAN</a> as its newest group. * The other Actors to Live! members, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@Amakasu_Kazari" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Amakasu Kazari</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@Yumine_Shino" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Yumine Shino</a> and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@Izumiya_Ritsu" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Izumiya Ritsu</a> were not included, forming a new group the following day.</p>
Dazzzzz Resistar
<p><a href="https://twitter.com/DazResi" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Dazzzzz Resistar</a> was the second male VTuber group of Propro Production. Its official Twitter account was created on February 2024. Its name was shortened to "DazResi" (ダズレジ) in Japanese.</p>
Independence
<p>On 28 May, Propro announced that Dazzzzz Resistar would become an independent VTuber group starting on 31 May.</p>

Arcoiris Management System
<p>The Arcoiris Management System, (A.M.S) was a support service group launched by Propro Production in 2023 to provide support to independent VTubers. VTubers who joined A.M.S were not considered agency members, but affiliated indies.</p> <p>On 30 June 2024, the service was ended, and all VTubers who were signed up for support returned to unaffiliated independent status.</p>
Trivia
<ul><li>Vkano's name (ぶいカノ) is derived from "V" (virtual) + "kano" from girlfriend (カノジョ), reflecting the agency's new direction towards producing more "girlfriend experience" (GFE)-oriented content. Their new tagline also hints at this.</li></ul>
