2025
On 9 August, Sumishiro Rei held her debut on YouTube.
On 23 August, Rei celebrated her channel getting monetized.
On 1 October, she launched her YouTube membership.
Retirement
On 31 December, Vkano announced Rei's graduation on the same day due to health reasons. Her Twitter was set to private and her FANBOX was closed that same day, while some content on her YouTube channel was also set to private.
Identity
- Her fan mark is a white heart and a salt shaker. The salt is because she is Vkano's self-proclaimed "salt" representative. It's a reference to her actually cold/unwelcoming (塩対応) personality, using the kanji for salt (塩) in "shiotaiou".
- Her father is a full vampire and her mother is human.
- She shared a story during debut about how her parents are living separately: she is still in regular contact with her mother, but this isn't the case for her father. Her goal of appearing on a radio show is also because she knows he listens to the radio regularly, and she wants to tell him she's doing fine.
