Alessia Ara

She has long black hair with her iconic red-eyed hairpin. Her eyes are a deep red, which according to her lore, changed from her natural brown when she merged with the tentacle monster, Morrow. She also had pointed elf ears from the same cause. She has several outfits but usually sports a modified black Japanese school uniform or black dress. Her hair usually frames her face and has bangs, though she has several hairstyles to choose from, such as ponytails and shoulder length hair. She sometimes adds black cat ears or bat wings and a tail to her model, depending on her mood. She always has on a plain black choker and has an array of earrings and hair clips. Her thighs have self-harm scars on them and her chest features a large surgery scar in the middle to replicate her real body scars-something she's proud of.

She states her canon breast size is D Cup but her models feature a range of sizes. Rarely she wears an open-chest black dress which displays her cleavage.

Her model features a jirai-kei all-black aesthetic with red accents, charms, and expressive eyes. She's the darker half of the Haiiro Girls ("Haiiro" meaning "gray" or "misty" in Japanese), with her sister Varie dressed in all white.

Alessia went through several iterations of her model and theme before she settled on her current. The first was a pink strawberry nekomimi, then a deer-girl, then a blue water themed tentacle monster girl. She states that she changed her model as she matured and due to the pressure of trying to please others in the community. She teased her latest model throughout 2024 and released it in 2025. She has one primary model and seven alternative models all in the same slightly differing styles.

Alessia, or Ale, has an unmistakably soft and cute presence, with a gentle voice and a tendency to react to whatever chat throws her way in ways that can make an ordinary conversation unexpectedly funny. She can come across as quiet or reserved at first, but there's considerably more beneath the surface than her initial sweetness might suggest. Every so often, she'll wander into a surprisingly personal, unexpected, or unabashedly honest topic, usually realize just how much she has revealed, and become a little embarrassed about it.

She is soft-spoken, kind, and ditsy and enjoys building a comfy, welcoming space for her community, which she lovingly calls her stinkies and whom she jokes resides in her basement. She spends much of her time doing art and is happy to show others how to grow in both art and the VTubing community. She's a staunch critic of gatekeeping content creation and very open about the toxicity in the VTubing, art, and broader streaming community, of which she has personally been a victim. She's been outspoken about "mean girl behavior" and body-shaming.

Despite seeming approachable, Alessia is actually fairly introverted, and her love of creating is one of the things that pulls her out of her shell. She’s the sort of person who remembers little things, cares deeply about the people and interests that matter to her, and has a sincere curiosity that comes through most clearly when she's excited about something. She also has a playful side, particularly in the way she reacts to chat—taking what people say and turning it into funny reactions that can elevate an ordinary conversation into something much more entertaining. She’s especially at home with comfy farm games, demos, and anything that lets her try something new without taking itself too seriously.

A lot of Ale's charm comes from that contrast: she's soft without being shallow, shy without being uninteresting, and cute without seeming to try very hard to be. The more comfortable she becomes, the more glimpses you get of the passionate, funny, and occasionally surprisingly candid person underneath. She likes to talk about NSFW topics and is open about her sexuality and relationships, but does not consider herself a lewdtuber. She’s also open about her personal journey with a congenital heart defect and uses streaming as a creative and social outlet.

Much of her life, anime and cosplay were forcibly repressed in her, thus as an adult it has become an incredible outlet for creativity, happiness, and expression.

Alessia began streaming in April 2020 with no model, before officially stepping into the VTuber scene by May of that year. Though she never had a formal debut, she quickly gained attention during one of the early 2020 VTuber booms. She initially struggled to find her place in the community but eventually connected with a small group of rising creators who became close friends and collaborators, sharing resources and moderators.

By 2021, Alessia was growing quickly. However, juggling a five-day streaming schedule, designing her own 3D model, and managing social pressure behind the scenes began to take a toll. She admitted feeling uncomfortable with the persona she had adopted and was increasingly dissatisfied with her personality, model, and aesthetic. That same year, she rebranded from a soft, pink strawberry-themed girl to a green spring-styled deer girl.

Toward the end of 2021, Alessia began experiencing severe symptoms due to a flare-up of her chronic heart condition, leading to less frequent streams and a surgery that winter. Simultaneously, she watched several friends fall victim to what she described as "toxic and overblown" drama within the VTuber space, leading to her circle fracturing. Several long-time moderators also left her community to work with larger streamers. The combined strain of heart issues, bullying, and burnout led her to announce a hiatus in early 2022.

During her break, Alessia remained active on Discord, streaming sporadically. In early 2023, she began publicly testing the waters for a full-time return. She rebranded again—this time to a blue-themed tentacle/slime girl—and dropped the soft, overly-cute vibe in favor of a more casual, playful persona that she felt more authentically represented her. She began designing and rigging a new 2D model from scratch, but it was never revealed. Just as she was preparing for her comeback, she was informed she needed emergency open-heart surgery. She spent the rest of 2023 recovering, streaming only a handful of times.

Alessia is a wannabe yandere and adores her older brother. She's obsessive and compulsive but far too awkward and gentle to actually act like a proper yandere.

Alessia was born with a congenital heart defect which held her back from living a normal life. She was unable to attend activities and extracurriculars like the other children, thus her only companions became her twin sister and older brother. In her small superstitious home town, this made others suspicious and even outright hostile towards her. Bullying and ostracization was a frequent occurrence for her.

Isolated and introspective, Alessia turned inward. She buried herself in manga and novels, losing herself in online communities as her only form of expression. These spaces became a world where she could unashamedly be herself, something she didn’t feel brave enough to be in real life. This naturally led to her becoming a streamer—hosting dual personalities; the one she wears through life, and the one she desperately wants to be.

One day, she and her siblings discovered an old shrine and Alessia was cursed, her soul becoming merged with that of a primordial ancient evil, a monster named Morrow. He can read her thoughts and influence her, often urging her to give into her darkest impulses and activating her yandere behavior.

Ale is a deeply affectionate and emotionally intense young woman whose personality changes dramatically depending on how safe she feels. In her personal life, she's shy, introverted, and fragile—a quiet otaku with an internet-poisoned sense of humor, a fondness for weirdness, and a tendency toward insecurity, overthinking, and obsessive attachment. She's easily embarrassed, prone to emotional ups and downs, and often struggles to believe that people genuinely enjoy having her around. Beneath her edgier exterior is someone desperately hungry for affection and reassurance.

When Ale logs online or feels comfortable, however, an entirely different side of her comes alive. She's excitable, expressive, playful, and sweet, with a tendency to gush over the people and things she loves. Her heart seems perpetually too full for her chest; a little genuine affection can have her practically glowing, eager to reciprocate tenfold. She loves intensely and sincerely, never wanting to let go of the feeling. When she's an idol, this side of her becomes especially prominent: she's goofy, pervy, energetic, wholesome, openly adoring, and effortlessly charming, with a naturally alluring beauty that contrasts wonderfully with how easily she becomes flustered.

Several fans have described her as the mix between a real life Ame-chan and Marin Kitagawa. Alessia's lore is based largely on experiences from her real life and is the basis of her upcoming video game Morrowbound.
