On 9 December, NEXAS announced that it would close on 31 January 2025 and let all of their members retain their IPs. Asa confirmed that he would go independent and would transition from AniLive to YouTube. He would later hold his last stream on AniLive on 15 December. Asa would debut on YouTube the day after.

On 11 January, Asa announced his IRIAM US debut set for 22 January.
