What is Lupus?
Lupus is a condition in which the body's immune system attacks its own tissues and organs. This is called an autoimmune condition. Lupus causes swelling and irritation, called inflammation, that may affect joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs.
Some people are born more likely to get lupus. Infections, certain medicines or even sunlight can trigger the condition. There's no cure for lupus, but treatments can help manage symptoms.

How does it affect me?
I experience fatigue, joint pain, muscle pain and chest pain at random times due to Lupus. It also makes it hard for me to do a lot of things outside as sunlight can make my symptoms worse. I am also far more susceptible to getting sick.

What is PTSD?
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that's caused by an extremely stressful or terrifying event — either being part of it or witnessing it. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares, severe anxiety and uncontrollable thoughts about the event. (Mayo Clinic)

What does that mean for stream?
It means that some things like music are carefully controlled for my mental safety. Some words that might not make sense to you are also banned in my chat and will be approved on a case to case basis for safety. We have a panic button, in case a former abuser is in chat or a hate raid happens.
