Hello! I am Nai (but will answer to Wawa also). Wa-Wa (the true Wawa) is our penguin-like familiar. Our pronouns are fae/faer; however, they/them is okay too~!

I am a disabled, nonbinary, queer + BIPOC cryptid and arcane practitioner suffering an existence of unending tortures, so we play games and craft to cope from within our hidden pocket of space of the Astral Sea. We stream to build a strong and accepting community.

I have Sickle Cell Anemia, Narcolepsy (Type 1), and Sjogren's Syndrome are a few of the chronic illnesses I've struggled with all my life. Born playing on "nightmare" mode. (Yeeeah... my parents rolled poorly on my character sheet) I was diagnosed with cancer (uterine sarcoma) in early 2020 and still presently battling it, which has made holding employment difficult. As before in my early years I play games and craft get through the tough times.

I try to aim stream from 12pm-4pm EST or 7pm-11pm EST most days.

However, due to extreme pain and/or fatigue, I currently don't have a streaming schedule and go live for as often and as long my 'spoons' or 'spell slots' allow.

# Why does your model look like that?
The kintsugi scars or 'cracks' on my model are how my invisible disabilities are represented. Their colour is galaxy-like edged in gold, and their placement and visibility on the model varies also— just like my own disabilities are varied and chronic along with the addition of other contributing life experiences.

Kintsugi (also known as kintsukuroi) is a Japanese artform that repairs broken pottery with a gold lacquer that creates golden seams, which not only acknowledges the piece's history but brings it renewed beauty. The artform stems from the Japanese Zen philosophy of 'wabi-sabi' which teaches us about how we should see life through a different lens— one where broken things are not considered useless but rather something beautiful because there is still beauty within it despite its change in condition.

# Why do you have two birthdays?
I was born with many complications including being comatose shortly after birth. The second birthday is what our family celebrates after recovering from the coma.

Our formal birthday is May 31st, it is referred to as "Summoning Day". And September 22nd is '2nd Birthday' but the day is now associated as Wa-Wa the Penguin familiar's birthday aka Wa-Wa Day.
