Harrowick is a member of a sentient candle species that resides in a cursed manor from another world. The candles are among the weakest of the manor's underlings because of their fragile nature. The wicks of the candles represent their mind and sanity. The more it burns the more they forget, and the more of themselves they lose.
Harrowick himself was formally known as "Lost Candle", as he had been separated from his previous group. He was found unconscious in the halls by Retainer Candle, it is unknown how long he was asleep for. When he was relit, the only thing he could recall was the name "Harrowick", and for mysterious reasons, he adopted the alias.
