Jeong Jing (LibraryOfJing)

Jing is generally a soft-spoken optimist who aims to make her streams a comfortable environment akin to a sleepover, or friends hanging out on the couch together. Occasionally, her cozy and positive demeanour slips, instead reveals her inner gremlin.

She is uncomfortable talking about NSFW matters, or swearing, but is unflinching when talking about adult or mature content with a serious tone (when the situation calls for it). One defining characteristic of Jing's is a resolute stubbornness, which is often shown with her enjoyment of challenge runs in gaming.

Jing is much shorter than average, and generally slender in build but with a larger than average bust. Jing has a pair of large upwards-pointing horns made of blueish gemstone, and white hair that refracts with the schiller of moonstone, making pinks, blues, and teals appear to sparkle in it under the right lighting. Normally wearing a brown vest, and cream top, paired with a blue skirt that matches with the colour of her horns.

Along with her normal outfit, Jing normally wears a librarian's ID badge on a lanyard around her neck, and large circular glasses. On her right leg, Jing has visible cracks revealing the gemstone that she is made from, bearing the same schiller as her hair and horns have.

For a number of years, friends and acquaintances suggested to Jing that she start streaming, to which she eventually relented in June of 2020, beginning streaming on her account, KoboldSprigg. Expecting not to continue with it, and with no knowledge on streams, streaming, or even on Twitch in general, she learned many lessons the hard way in her time on Twitch.

• Her mascot is a candle familiar named Chandra.
• Her fans are known as Bookworms.

• Shard - Jing's wife, a towering cryptid with four arms, and guest hosts her stream from time to time.
• Son & Sons & Father & Company Hardware Company - An unofficial streaming team that Jing regularly participates in charity fundraising with. Normally for the Cancer Research Institute, Alzheimer's Association, and Extra Life.
• Mythical Menagerie - The streaming team that Jing is a part of, who collaborate semi-regularly, and participate in fundraising with Extra Life together annually.

• She is a fantastical creature of her own design, a jio, which is a sort of living gemstone.
• While she does possess a great deal of magic as a jio, she doesn't use any, because said magic also functions more or less as her lifespan.
• She is currently a custodian of the Cosmic Record, a seemingly-endless library at the crossroads between worlds, but is originally from a world known as Khuld.
• While she is married, Jing has kept her maiden name.
• As a custodian of the Record, Jing is able to pass between worlds as easily as someone might catch a train, and regularly does so to claim lost media to be stored safely in the library.
• While it doesn't come up often, Jing is a 'pact master', or a fashion of warlock. It has been implied that her mastery over these pacts was as equals, though the specific patrons of her powers aren't specified.
• Jing is originally from a world known as Khuld, from a small island nation called Seiran, though she emigrated to the mainland of Szerkir as an infant. As an adult, she accepted a pact to work under the Record Keeper, the master of the Cosmic Record.

• She chose to have her model's bust despite her discomfort with NSFW conversations and communities for the reason of body positivity, that her stream be a space that people can feel comfortable rather than find reason to be ashamed of their bodies the way she regularly is made to feel in real life for the selfsame bustline.
• The cracks in Jing's leg are from a childhood injury, and was included as a reference because of the audible snap that her ankle makes audible on the microphone.
• She is legally blind, and completely unable to see without her glasses.
• She also has a novel brain condition, which causes episodes of greatly-diminished brain function with little warning, and often lasting many hours, and sometimes days. She still regularly streams when suffering an episode, though sometimes it is the cause of Shard guest-hosting the channel.
• She has written a great deal of D&D fifth edition homebrew, which can be accessed freely from her Ko-fi.
• She has an abnormally large tongue, which is actually the source of her slight speech impediment/accent.

• She loves traditionally-domestic activities such as gardening and cooking, but also any activity that allows her to create something for herself.
• One of her favourite treats is grape soda.
• She is very physically affectionate, and delights in hugging and cuddling with friends and loved ones.
• She absolutely loves TTRPGs, in particular Dungeons & Dragons, which was a hobby that she grew up on before even video games.
• She dislikes being booped on the nose.
