Kiyo has a complex and endearing personality. She is often sleepy and lethargic, reflecting her feline roots, but she can become suddenly excitable when she finds something she loves. She is known to be pouty when things don't go her way, and she frequently displays tsundere traits, often acting tough or indifferent to mask how much she actually cares about her friends and community.

She has pale skin, prominent fangs, white hair with rose pink accents on the ends of her shoulder hair. Her ears are rounded, with manul markings on the backs of them.

• Hair and Markings: She has long, white hair, with her blunt bangs splitting off to the left into a wrap-around braid, finishing into a bun-ponytail. Notably, her bangs are adorned with light, muted-purple heart-shaped spots similar to manuls. She also features cat-like markings on her cheeks, shoulders, hips, and thighs. Additionally, the transformation with Amycus left a mark on her lower abdomen.

After being abandoned as a cat in the wild, Kiyo was transformed into a magical girl by the deity Amycus. The process was imperfect, leaving her with unique traits and a heavy duty to protect humanity. She eventually took on a human identity to integrate into society.
