Kumorin Ota

Kumorin Ota is a kind, caring person who tries to keep as much positivity in her streams as much as possible. She's welcoming for any and all who enters her streams so long as they abide by her rules. Kumorin's a very happy-go-lucky streamer who also has a competitive side when the need arises. Her main goal is to have fun and make the stream as much fun for any and all who watch! She cares for her Baebees and will talk to any of them who are having difficulties. Kumorin is a supportive person who offers her streams and Discord server as a 'Silver Lining' to help comfort them during stressful events. Kumorin's a smart woman who's got a mischievous side and likes to cause some chaos once in a while.

Kumorin Ota is a small weather faerie with blue-green wings and a cloud hat that floats behind her head. Her blonde hair is shoulder length with bangs, a cowlick and an amber gem at the top of her head. She has green eyes and thick eyebrows. Her main 1.0 outfit is a blue long-sleeve crop top and skirt combo, with honey dripping from the chest. She has a choker with a bee charm, and optional honey jewelry (glasses and earrings).

Kumorin's most recent 2.0 model features a more bright yellow-orange ensemble with a blue crop top, long flowy sleeves, and a removeable cropped yellow shirt. Her cowlick was changed to be larger, and her gem now sits without a headband. The skirt has been changed to resemble a lily (yuri in Japanese, referencing her favourite flowers), and changed to be yellow. Her wings have changed to be more Faerie-like, and her boots have changed to be go-go style with sun and moon imagery floating around it. Underneath the skirt, Kumorin has bee-striped panties attached to garters on her legs. Kumorin's 2.0 model has multiple costumes, including her "Rainy-Day Idol" costume. This costume takes inspiration from the hydrangea flower, which blooms during rainy season in Japan. The costume features a maid-style idol costume in light blue, pink, and white. With the addition of this costume, Kumorin can sport longer hair as well as a ponytail with a rainbow ribbon inside, for after the rain comes a rainbow!

Debuting on 21 July 2024, Kumorin Ota revealed her Sunburst Racing Queen outfit.

Kumorin's Sunburst Racing Queen outfit is based on the popular "Racing Queens" in Drag Racing. The colour palette features a more neon design that focuses on reds, cyans, and white. Her crop top has a sun shaped cutout in the center, showing cleavage and her small mole on the right breast with a gem in the center of the collar.

The mini skirt features the same, shiny vinyl material along side two more gems. The skirt has a long, flowing tail that shimmers as if it's holographic. Her platform toeless boots feature a sun shaped accessory in gold, and are coloured with a rainbow. Sunburst Kumorin has a full body tan, with a pattern of "HONEY HONEY" on her left calf. Both her fingernails and toenails are painted cyan.

As for accessories, both of her arms and thighs have golden ribbons. Her right wrist features a cloud bracelet with a small neon charm. With her signature ahoge, Kumorin has fashioned her hair with two buns which are secured with petal-looking elastics. Most notably, she can toggle a red and white flag with an alternate arm.

Kumorin has multiple models that she can switch between to match the mood of the game she plays or event that she's playing. Models can also be switched between using channel points if viewers want a different look.

First, in the design of an Animal Crossing avatar illustrated and rigged by Pandreem, is the Animal Crossing Model. (Furthermore referred to as The AC model.) The AC model has 3 outfits: 1.0 model inspired, Comfy Sweater, and Happy Home Designer. The Animal Crossing model debuted on January 11th 2022. Viewers can redeem the Animal Crossing outfit via Channel Points and can alternate between the 3 outfits In addition, viewers can also toggle a fishing rod to show Kumorin's love for fishing in Animal Crossing!

The second model is one designed like the popular plush brand "Nesoberi", illustrated and rigged by Maya. The Nesoberi model, dubbed "The Neso", debuted on November 27th 2022. This mischievous gremlin model can be switched to and from with her other models via Channel Points. On April Fools Day 2024, Kumorin held an hour long stream where the Nesoberi only repeated "The sun is gone". This is often referenced, and multiple emotes were made to reference the event. Kumorin's first merchandise launch featured "Kumorin's Theoretical Plushie", and viewers could buy a plush that was inspired by the Nesoberi model. This stock was very limited and is completely sold out!

On 23 May 2025, Kumorin Ota debuted with the upgraded 2.0 Nesoberi Model! Kumorin Ota was able to reach back out to Maya and ask for the big favor! And did she pull through? Yes. Yes she did! With new features and redeems for the upgrade, the Nesorin 2.0 is brighter and more chaotic than ever before!

On 26 July 2025, KumorinOta reached the milestone of her 4 year streaming anniversary! And to celebrate the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, she debuted with her 3D Live model which includes her 2.0 default outfit and her Rainy Day Idol outfit! The long awaited dream has been realized and she celebrated her milestone by performing an idol concert and sang songs that meant the most to her throughout her life. "Kumorin's Theoretical Plushie" has a second version based on the 2.0 outfit, and was available as a preorder on July 23rd 2024. It released on November 10th 2024 and as time of writing is still available to purchase.

On 28 November 2024, KumorinOta's long awaited 500,000 Sun Drop "Surprise Me" redeem was claimed by DeMOTHerate. After much anticipation and waiting, Kumorin was finally able to reveal the chat mascot, DayBee. DayBee is a Text-to-Speech channel point redeem for chat to create all manners of chaos and fun. The DayBee's design is a honey drop covering a tiny cloud with bee wings. Topped with a white daisy and green leaf on its forehead, DayBee quickly became a welcomed addition to the stream's assets.

Prior to debuting, Kumorin Ota released song covers on her YouTube. She then debuted as a VTuber on Twitch on 21 July 2021.

Kumorin's fans are known as Baebees and can be found on her official discord server.

• She has lived and worked in Japan since November 2021.
• Her first 1.0 model was changed two days after her debut stream, as underboob is not allowed to be shown on the Twitch platform. It was then changed to have honey drips covering the area.
• Her three sizes are a secret, but she alludes to her chest size as "F-aerie Sized"
• Kumorin passed her JLPT N3 test in January 2024. She can speak Japanese conversationally, and professionally if in regards to her work as a school teacher. To add, she will switch between both languages if people in her chat speak Japanese.
• She is studying business Japanese and conversational Indonesian currently.
• Kumorin's specialties are Concept Art, Graphic Design, and Design for Manufacturing. She created all of the designs for her stream's panels, announcement material, and merchandise manufacturing designs by herself!
• Kumorin originally wanted to become an astronaut, but since this wasn't possible she lives vicariously through her favourite manga, Space Brothers.
• Kumorin's favourite series is Love Live! School Idol Project, and frequently goes to concerts in Japan. Her oshimen are as follows: Nozomi Tojo, Ruby Kurosawa, Ai Miyashita, Sumire Heanna, and Sayaka Murano.
• Kumorin's mod, Kazuma-San, has been a longtime friend of Kumorin's.
• Her name is a play on words from the Japanese word "Kumori", which means "cloudy". Furthermore, if her name is shown in Japanese order, "Ota Kumorin", it looks like "Otaku Morin"・オタク茂林, meaning "A dense forest of Otaku/geeks", referencing her deep love of anime and Japanese idols. Furthermore, she uses kanji for her last name, Ota / 太田, which can mean "Thick fields". Many have taken this to reference "Huge tracts of Land" from Monthy Python and the Holy Grail.
• During Kumorin's Birthday Subeethon, she held a "Rate My Waifu" contest and got voted as "Top Tier Waifu" by chat.
