Clio Aite

Clio can be described as laid-back and passionate when streaming. She began streaming on Twitch with the intention of it starting out as a hobby. She now streams on a day to day basis. In the beginning she was somewhat shy though she has never held back from speaking her mind. Today she freely banters and hangs out with her viewers.

Some people tend to mistake Clio as a mean hearted person when in fact she is quite sweet and pleasant and thoughtful of other people.

Clio was an IRL history professor specializing as a medievalist. She is always eager to share and talk about history from the medieval period. She has done multiple lecture streams on various historical topics as well as once teaching Latin on stream. She has authored multiple research journals.

She previously lived and grew up in the UK, though she was born into a Catholic Irish family. Growing up she would occasionally moved back and forth in the UK. She now currently resides in Australia having been a resident for the past 15 years.

Clio remains cool, calm and collected during matters when it’s necessary. She has always made a point of letting everyone be freely to speak their minds and to not take topics too seriously, allowing viewers to express themselves freely within moderation.

On most days that she does not have anything set or scheduled, she lets the stream take her wherever it leads. During the day she decides what to do on the spot and occasionally letting viewers suggest games. You will usually find her playing what can easily be said to be her favorite game: Europa Universalis IV, a game she is eager to get everyone into. She has invited a number of other VTubers to play the game with her in order to get them into the genre as well as to teach them how to play.

She used to wrestle when she was younger and is a big fan of professional wrestling. She was forced to retire due to a serious injury to the head. She continues to be an avid wrestling fan furthermore occasionally keeping up with different wrestling promotions.

She is said to be somewhat easily misunderstood, with some of her viewers in the past mistaking her straightforward remarks and comments as her being mad or angry at them. Now most know that she never means to offend and usually only does this as a response to a snarky or playful comment made by one of her viewers.

Clio is a self-admitted parasocial streamer saying that she has grown quite attached to her community and their company. While said as a joke she has shared that she has gotten considerably happier compared to before she started streaming.

Mid-2020, during Covid-19 times, one of Clio's students recommended her to become a VTuber due to her presentation during online classes. After discovering hololive, she decided to become an actual VTuber.

Clio had her first stream on Twitch on 19 August 2022.

• Clio's followers are known as Hagstorians/Arcliologists.

• She is the Head Archivist and Historian of Phase World. She also runs the library in Phase HQ.
• Despite exploring options such as being a mercenary, which is the reason for her model's eye scar—Alexander the Great's secret assassin, and starting the Wars of the Diadochi, Clio does not have a proper or established lore. She dismissed these options after finding out it wasn't necessary to have it in becoming a VTuber. However during her 1.5 debut she did provide a lore document in which she did try to summarize her lore; she plans to release the document once she is satisfied with the final draft.
• Changed her outfit to her current one as Phase Connect said jeans were too unprofessional in the workplace.

• She particularly likes history, awful jokes, strategy games, tea, spicy food, long streams, the term "Antiquity", and getting 7% sieges in EU4.
• Her favorite food and drink include Ceylon tea, McVitie's Caramel Digestives, roast carrots and spicy food.
• Her favorite season is Autumn/Winter.
• Her favorite anime is A Place Further than the Universe.

• Despite being a university history professor, she believes herself to be stupid in all topics aside from history and geography.
• Clio is a former Olympic/national-level swimmer then became a football player before her wrestling career.
• The latter lasted 4 months until she got dropped on her head.
• Clio is a sports nerd and enjoys watching various sports including football, wrestling and e-sports (Dota 2).
• Clio believes that a two bowl set up is the best way to eat cereal in terms of crunch to sog ratio.
• Clio was stabbed by a 12-year-old with a makeshift shiv in the UK when she was around the same age.
• Clio owned a Mini Fox Terrier named Molly. She now owns a Dachshund named Lotte.
