Lesage Singing

Lesage found vtubing after a Patreon request to react to Music Box of Fate (MBoF). Lesage reacted to MBoF live in front of 3 viewers. The video was well received by The Precious Family. Lesage's following stream had 400 viewers. Those viewers began recommending more and more videos to guide Lesage through the "vtube rabbit hole". Lesage then met Rosa Nagashi and then Sab3r after being moved by the Music Box of Fate community edition.

Lesage was trained early in their career by San Fransisco Opera Chorus soprano Marylin Curtis for free, five days a week. Lesage had been attempting to fund free lessons through youtube adsense for several years. When disclosing this to the Sages, the Sages donated $2000 to allow Lesage to stop their Python contract work to teach full time.

The composer of MBoF, Starlight Daryl, reacted to Lesage's react. While Lesage was reacting to Starlight Daryl's reaction, Daryl appeared in stream. Lesage invited Daryl on a discord call to chat live on the spot. This began a series of the following collaborative interviews. Starlight Daryl, Rosa Nagashi, Yam Albat, Michi Mochievee, Bajiru_EN, Ferrovox, SixteenInMono, WUNDER RiKU, Sab3r, Lightshard, Monii Bagel, Ellie Minibot and Tim Welch.

It was Yam Albat who invited Lesage to perform Music Box of Fate at Offkai. Ellie Minibot also made a model specifically for Lesage to help them with their gender identity.

Following the interview with Michi, Lesage began regularly appearing in Michi's chat. During a live stream, Sixteen In Mono sent an mp3 to Michi and played it live. Michi, being an eternal creature of whimsy, stated, "Wouldn't it be funny if the Opera Singer did a diss track in response?". Lesage agreed and worked with sab3r and Bajiru_EN to create a track that dissed Sixteen In Mono for sending Michi an MP3 file.

Sixteen In Mono, channeling maximum gremlin energy, responded with a diss track of his own that featured a zooted Michi. Continuing the bit, Mono sent it in mp3 format. Not to be out done, Lesage gathered Starlight Daryl, Monii Bagel, Usan, Michi, Sab3r, Ferro, Michi's mods and the Sages to create an epic response. Sixteen In Mono then followed with an 8 minute musical (also in mp3 format) dedicated to roasting Lesage and ended the diss track wars with a final giant fart that was in wav format. Starlight Daryl, Sab3r, Lesage and Bajiru_EN reacted to this live where Sixteen In Mono won the diss track wars by admitting defeat and foiling Lesage's elaborate withdrawal from the diss track wars.

Following the epic battle against Sixteen In Mono Lesage began to prepare to sing live for the first time in several years. After months of live streaming their prep Lesage traveled to LA to perform Starlight Fantasia with Bajiru_EN, Starlight Daryl, Office Drumer and Riptide-san at Fantastic Reality. Immediately following, Lesage's health struggles began re-emerging. While managing those struggles, Lesage went to Offkai to perform Music Box of Fate. Lesage had decided to dedicate the performance to their late father. However Lesage was struggling to deliver the song and enlisted the aid of Monii Bagel to assist in getting through the performance.

The preparation paid off as much of the audience was in tears and even gave a standing ovation. Lesage insisted Riku, the lyricist of Music Box of Fate come on stage and Starlight Daryl brought in Yam for what would become a group hug by the four who had had their live's changed by the song.

Lesage originally left live performance due to health issues. The issues re-emerged after the performances. With help from the Sages, Lesage stepped away from garnering attention through react content by assisting the Tomobaji's (Bajiru_EN's community) with a birthday project. The project's scope was daunting at seven minutes, requiring a community choir and a music video. While dealing with health issues, Lesage leaned on Usan's advice, as well as the advice of Lesage's admins: Schuster and Monoquark. After 3 months of uncertainty, Lesage was able to bring their health issues under control and work with Usan, Bajiru, Schuster, Monoquark, the Sages, Rosa Nagashi, sab3r, voidStar, the Tomobaji's and 150 volunteers to bring a 7m 37s fully animated music video with 300 vocal submissions to life.

The live performances, Bajiday project and health issues had reduced Lesage's online presence and lowered funding. Lesage is now in the process of returning to the creation of react content and collaborations that made free lessons possible. The Sages, Toobooring (Lesage's Editor), Honey, Birdyovo, and Bajiru_EN are all helping to bring attention to Lesage's free voice lessons through the creaction of tools, content and collaborations.
