Mako has pale skin and long, bright slightly wavy orange hair with red streaks and an ahoge, commonly tied up to a left side pony with a wobbegong hairpin. She has vibrant red eyes and rosy cheeks. She is commonly seen with a black rectangular bottom half-frame pair of glasses, though has been seen before without it.
She wears a white short-sleeved dress shirt with orange collars and black and gold suspenders connected to her black skirt that is trimmed on its hem with two white stripes.

2021
Mako unofficially debuted in a university lecture before going on to debut on twitch on the 10th of September 2021 using the same 2D model as she used in her unofficial debut. Somewhere along the way (around October 2021), she then changed to using a 3D model with long blond hair and red eyes. She made a Christmas wreath made out of tendies themed sweater for that model too.
2022
On 7 February, she made an official redebut showing her new wobbegong shark themed model.
2023
On 7 March , Mako got partnered on Twitch.
On 15 March the formation of the Twitch team "Vershion" (a play on the words "version" and "shion", the Japanese word for "beautiful woman") was announced by Jean Faymas. This team consists of Mako and her fellow Australian VTubers Clio Aite, Jean Faymas, and Hanya.
