### The Story of CV_XIII

Noon has been a vampire for over 1,300 years.

For most of her life, being a vampire was... well, just being a vampire. Drink blood, stay hidden, watch humans grow old while you don't. After a while, Noon simply got tired of it.

Then she found **CV Corp**.

CV Corp is a secret corporation created by vampires who... wanted something different. Seventeen vampires joined the project, each given cybernetic augmentations designed to change how their bodies worked.

Noon became **CV_XIII - Number 13**.

Her augmentations made it so she no longer needed blood to survive. Instead, she feeds on something much more useful in the modern world: **data**.

Memory cards, RAM, SSDs, servers... if it stores information, Noon can probably drain it.

This made her particularly useful to CV Corp. Her job is simple: get into places she shouldn't be, steal data from rival corporations, and bring it back.

The other vampires of CV Corp were modified differently. Some still need blood, which is supplied by human employees who donate specially augmented blood. Others have completely different augmentations and abilities.

For a while, Noon was perfectly happy with her new life.

Then some of the vampires started disappearing.

One of them was **CV_XII - Number 12**.

Number 12 was the person Noon was closest to in the entire corporation. Her disappearance hit Noon harder than she would like to admit.

So now, whenever Noon is sent to steal data, she has another reason to do it.

She's looking for her.

Every hard drive she cracks open, every server she infiltrates, every piece of data she drains could contain a clue about where Number 12 went... or what happened to her.

Noon doesn't know who she can trust anymore.

But she does know one thing:

She's going to find Number 12.
