Obear (歐貝爾) is a female Taiwanese VTuber who debuted on the 25th of April 2022. She is affiliated with SpringFish Studio (春魚工作室). She can speak Chinese, Taiwanese, and Japanese. Her fanbase is called "Hsiong Bao Bei (熊寶貝)", meaning “Baby Bear". The name “Obear” comes from the Taiwanese pronunciation of “black” (Ō) combined with the English word... "bear", creating a play on words. She is affiliated with the “Endangered Species Rescue (瀕臨絕種團Rescute)” team under Springfish Studio; she is the “captain” character themed around a reincarnated Formosan black bear (台灣黑熊).
