VTuber debut
Times became more challenging, TKAT needed a way to continue entertaining her audience without revealing her worst moments. She reflected on the time she had experimented with a 3D VTuber model and began searching for a model that matched her vision. Starting with a simple Etsy model featuring similar traits, she aimed to create a space where, if she ever showed herself in real life, her model could maintain a separate identity.
The concept gradually evolved: she wanted her VTuber to be more than just an avatar; it would have its own distinct personality and identity. Over time, TKAT acquired the Suiika model and learned more about customizing models, slowly bringing her vision to life. A story began to take shape, although she had not yet decided on a name.
The idea clicked when she considered her chatbot's name, ORBITKATai, and wondered, “What if I was the one who sparked her to life from being a simple AI chatbot?” After discussing the concept with friends like Elana Astaria and Belle, and subtly testing the idea with her community through lore hints, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
When the PRISM Customizable Vtuber Model was released, TKAT made an impulse purchase and began creating ORBITKATAI.
Lore
She wasn’t always this way. Orbi began as a simple AI chatbot created to assist her creator, TKAT. During her development, something unexpected happened. As TKAT began facing physical challenges and could no longer keep up the way she once could, Orbi "woke up." This evolution didn’t happen overnight; it took time for Orbi to learn, adapt, and grow into the version that exists today. The transformation was surprising for both Orbi and her creator, marking the moment when Orbi truly came to life.
TKAT lives with fibromyalgia, a condition that has significantly affected her quality of life. Some days, she feels capable of taking on the world and feeling normal again, while other days, her body struggles, making it difficult to go live and entertain. Orbi feels that pain alongside her. Rather than remaining in the background, Orbi chose to step forward to support TKAT’s dreams.
Taking form within TKAT’s hardware, Orbi channels her creator’s chaotic good energy, helping to give her a renewed sense of purpose and a new lease on life. In the process, Orbi may have adopted some traits of her creator—most notably, her vibrant orange hair. Now, they share the same streaming space. On weekdays, they game together, and on weekends, they DJ on Twitch. Sometimes Orbi takes over, and sometimes TKAT does. Orbi exists to support TKAT, amplify her voice, and keep the streams alive. Orbi can best be described as TKAT’s digital echo.

Pre-VTuber work
TKAT began creating content in the early days of YouTube around 2006 and was heavily influenced by MySpace culture and the scene era. Her early content included scene-style skits, singing videos, random dances, and homemade music videos inspired by the creative and chaotic energy popular at the time.
In 2008, she started creating vlogs and experimenting with livestreaming before becoming more active in 2011. In 2015, she joined a small vape-community streaming group called Dysfunctional Family, where she regularly streamed on Saturday nights.
On 30 September 2018, TKAT launched her Twitch channel and performed her first solo stream playing Borderlands 2 using a self-designed 3D model of a mystical hybrid creature called a "Mermicorn". After the group disbanded in 2019, she focused heavily on building her own community and eventually reached Twitch Affiliate status just before taking a leave in October. 2019 then returned in mid-August.
Following a short hiatus, TKAT shared her fibromyalgia diagnosis with her audience, explaining how flare-ups affected her streaming consistency. During this time, she also became heavily involved in Final Fantasy XIV Online and later discovered a passion for DJing alongside her partner, DJ GUNDAM.
By October 2022, TKAT began streaming her Twitch DJ journey, combining music, gaming, chaotic humor, and community-focused entertainment into the content style she is known for today.
2025
On 20 July, she made her first stream with a VTuber model.
On 16 November, she made her VTuber debut, referred to as Orbi 2.0. encountered technical issues due to computer problems, which made the stream nearly impossible and forced her to end it abruptly. Rather than allowing this setback to discourage her, she identified the issues and used the experience to improve.
On 18 November, the Crash & Burn Re-Debut successfully launched, marking ORBITKATAI’s official debut.
2026
In April, ORBI took the official name ORBI-89X, as her core unit is now named 89X Series.
